This is so true Rishee. I started testing one pair and swing can go from +5 to -5 in few bad trading days, but eventually 1:2 RR will come on top and generate around 5 -10% per month.

The key here is the meticulous process behind these trades, sticking to the rules and maintaining discipline throughout, despite the ups and downs.

The real value of this approach is that once you experience the power of discipline and consistency, you'll naturally start to adhere to the rules without hesitation. Your entire perspective on trading will shift. That’s exactly why I always stress the importance of journaling every trade—wins, losses, break-evens, skipped trades, and even those that break the rules. After just 50 trades, you’ll start to see the difference.

Finally, if you’ve been trading for over a year and you’re not journaling your trades, you should seriously reconsider your approach. It's a crucial step in refining your strategy and building long-term success.

One way to solve it:
1. Open the template file in Notepad
2. Search for "object_name=jvps" (there are 4 objects)
3. Delete every object that contains the search phrase (from <object> to </object>)
4. Save the cleaned template

Hi all, took two trades today and both were losses.
Did not notice the change of color of the TTM as it was yellow until the very last few seconds of the first trade.

Excellent trade on Gold today—you can see it’s a textbook setup just before the New York session open, and it played out beautifully. If you remember last week’s breakdown, we had two losses—one right after the Asian open and one after the New York open. I included both as valid losses for this exact reason. These session transitions can go either way.

So, if you choose to avoid trading around session opens/closes, you would’ve skipped all of these trades—both the losses and this win. But if you choose to take them, then the rule is to take all of them consistently. That’s the key to staying systematic.

Trade ran up to 1.94R before reversing and hitting breakeven—frustrating start to the week, no doubt. But it is what it is… on to the next one

1. -1R
2. +2R
3. -1R. Such a poor trade, incorrectly calculated lot size so had to tighten my stop loss, and price was close to the basis at entry. So definitely a trade that shouldn't have been taken. Avoidable loss
4. -1R. Nice setup but failed to account for the highlighted candle's wick when placing my stop. Got stopped out immediately on what could've been a nice +2R win. Quite a frustrating one.
5. +1.75R. Took a partial profit after upward momentum slowed.

Overall: +0.75R

Not my best day but still in profit. Easily could've been a +3.75R day but that's the way it goes. Definitely some things I can improve on however such as that execution error on trade 3.
