Day by day, I’ll be sharing ideas about binary options in the form of custom indicators created to test these strategies. Download the indicator, Suggest improvements, or Describe your own strategy – and I’ll turn it into an indicator for you. The goal is to build a solid set of tools that can help users achieve consistent success!
First Experiment: Rethinking the ADX Indicator
As my first approach, I’m trying to create a different way to interpret the ADX indicator. At first, I attempted to work with crossovers, but quickly noticed an issue: the ADX constantly updates as long as the candle moves. Even if we choose to read only the open price, any price movement causes the ADX to shift slightly, resulting in signals that may not truly reflect our intended strategy — especially when we try to show arrow signals on the chart.
To address this, I introduced a fixed ADX level of 25 and chose to work only with the -DI line. The logic is simple: when -DI crosses this level, we trigger a buy or sell signal depending on the direction of the crossover .
Of course, some signals might not be accurate, and some may even repaint, since the ADX doesn't strictly follow the opening price logic. Still, this can be a good starting point — an experimental base we can improve upon over time.
This is the first version made available for testing. So please, analyze it, observe the behavior, and feel free to suggest improvements if you are someone analytical and experienced in the field .
I’ll be back soon with updates — aiming to create the best possible indicator for the binary options market.
