I have done some further back testing and i have found entering on the 1 min way better.
I keep the same 50 minute extension , but enter on the 1 min close. This gives much better entries and its easier to thee the choppier 5 minute trend.
Will trade this week and give further feedback.
Would appreciate any thoughts from anyone who has taken a look at this on the 1 minute.

Hi, does anyone have a tool or something to project out the 10 candles , like a candle counter perhaps that does this ?

Hi mate,
Not sure whether you use MT5 but attached is a tool i made (develop) that contains the x bar time projection (as well as some other features).
You can switch between T&P (Time & Price) and NITS (No Indicator Trading System) for lines and rectangles.
It works with key-combos and does NOT come with any warranty ;-)
Shift-M will give you a "key manual" and TF color scheme.

No source code because it would entails adding a truckload of libraries .. can't be bothered.

Does anyone using this system on MT4 have a way of plotting the 10 candle out ? Like a tool or something. I'm kinda stuck on this one.

It seems legit but I'm still confused about few rules. Need more help from you.
1. Where is the projection of trendline by 10 candles to the right"? How can we project position of the next 10th candle?
2. Why can't we just drag horizontal line from the previous close of 4th candle? (see attachment)
3. Is this system also applicable for other TFs?

Hi, you can use the trendline function of mt4. The small number next to the trendline (in the below picture is 10) when you drag it is the number of candles. Hope this helps.

But your picture showed 10 candles to the left, while the author said 10 candles to the right.
"project that trendline by 10 candles to the right"
and that what made me confused.
How could we project/predict the future 10th candle.

Hi, you draw the line from the highest point of the zigzag in the below case. Drag it to the right until you see the number 10 on the line. After that grab another trendline from the tip of this horizontal line that we just drew and drag it back by about 14 candles or we can also say 4 candles back from the high of the zigzag. That will be your setup. If price breaks the slanted trendline enter a short position (in the case below).

Yes I trade using MT4. Very easy system. I started with not using zig zag and not too bothered with the 14 look back but 10 to the right and tl which works fabulous.
I only trade it on gold and have added the zig zag
Small change as I found 40pips too tight. I have been doing 100tp and 50sl. I've been getting 2 to 3 wins to 1 loss. This has been great. Thanks guys
