The indicators in V10 are calculated based on a multiplier of ADR (Average Daily Range), and the ADR value should ideally be updated daily. However, I noticed that the data values on the EA panel remain static unless the panel is manually reloaded.

The ADR is calculated over the past several weeks so it does not change much from day to day.
The CDR is the current range for the day and I will change that in the next version to update without having to refresh the window.
The ADR is used in some calculations but the CDR is not being used for any calculations at this time.

If you have any problems or questions with The Manager or Strategy Trader please post them here in the forum so everyone has a chance to respond. If you send a question to my email no one else will be able to see it and learn from it. There may be someone else with the same problem and the fix may help them also.
The videos answer most of the questions and as time goes by I will make some more videos.

Next week I will be testing 2 new strategies.

6) Same as Strategy 4 but with a direction filter added.

7) Similar to Strategy 4 but with a direction filter added and a CS filter that will replace the BO Line.

I have been having good luck doing basket trades of all 28 pair and just taking a fixed dollar amount basket and then doing a repeat and build a new basket and catch another dollar value and keep repeating this all on automatic.
Strategies 4 and 5 seem to work the best for this method.
You do need to adjust your lot size and dollar value for best results.
You don't want a real large dollar target that would take forever to hit if your lot size was too small.
Of course, this all depends on the size of your trading account.

Not such an easy week but holding up. The Marty False Demo was mistakenly run on 0.01 lots as opposed the Marty true which was 0.05. Rectified for next week.

Hi Gene, Just an idea, i often see winners turn into losers like below, not knocking the system or Ea as i think its Brilliant, but
could we have max profit per pair, wondering if that would help ?

maybe you could try a demo where you have a small cash basket tp and rinse and repeat like Gene does. Seems that would limit the exposure of the trades and possibly prevent the scenario where winners turn to losers as you said

Hi Blam, i agree but that sometimes closes trades that have just opened that turn out to be really good trades, Maybe im barking up the wrong tree, but was just a thought i had .

I have played with the idea of using TP and TSL but because of the noise in Forex it did not work out that well because you only get the big winners maybe 15% of the time. A basket works well like Blam mentioned I have done in the past as it will continue to make small profits that will grow your account in a slow but consistent manner using a basket dollar TP or a basket % of the account TP. Here are some examples of a test I was running this past week using Strategy 5 with a added trend direction filter added which I am testing. Of course in this case the lot size and dollar TP values should have been adjusted higher to match the account size, but this was just a test of the added trend filter idea. You don't want to go for a real large TP if you have a small lot size as you may never get to it. I guess you can cal this Basket Scalping. LOL A nice consistent flow of money into your account with the proper settings. With a basket you are always going to have losers and winners but the idea is for your winners to make up for your losers and hit your TP. Of course you can just let the Strategy run and let each pair go for its max but you will then have to live through more DD. Another thing you need to watch out for putting a TP line on the chart is I have seen times when price has hit my TP but it turned out to be a loser because the Broker had jacked up the spread at that time. Of course you can add code to stop it from closing trades when the spread is too high. Also TSL needs to be rather large to account for all the noise. So its what type of game do you want to play. I haven't found the Holy Grail yet and I don't know of anyone else either no matter what their adds say. LOL

Be sure to not limit the number of pairs in the basket too much because you never know which pair is going to make a move and have the basket hit its target.

Since I received EA, it has been running for a whole week last week, but EA has not placed any orders. I don't know why? I checked the settings and there was no problem. I didn't open all the charts for 28 currency pairs, only 7. I'm not sure if this is the reason。

Looks like the AUDUSD took a trade and closed at a profit.

It will not take any trades when the spread is in the red.

You have The Manager on the EURUSD which you are also trading which is a "NO NO", it should be on the USDTRY or EURTRY, never on a chart you are trading.

Why are you only trading 6 pairs on this size account?

It's probably best to run it on all 28 pairs, (ie open all charts with indicator attached) losses from one pair will generally be covered by wins from another so you're not really over exposing yourself by doing that. Adjust your exposure with lot sizing. Anecdotally, the majority of trades will open from Mon ny session to tue/wed and go into drawdown then thurs/Fri they should start closing out in profit after pulling back or reversing (this is without using the basket option and letting the bot do it's thing) typically about a 70% winrate doing this.

The marked position had further profit potential but was exited too early. I recommend implementing an optional trend-tracking feature using MA5/MA10 as trailing indicators, with automatic position closure upon trend reversal.
Note: I adjusted the ATR addition levels to 0.75, 1, and 1.25.
