The reason to buy is because there is accumulation and there has been a shakeout in the Asian session.

Here is a D2 TF chart.

Bearish candlestick pattern presents itself, Evening Star. (That is not to say present candle cant close bullish i.e. if trade talks btw US & China stalls). Then we have a FVG sitting around the 3280-3250 area. Current structure shows Gold is in a range as we have upper level resistance 3380/3400 and lower level at 3200/3195 and like I had pointed out earlier may continue ranging into Q3.

So TP levels I watch out for going short should price respect structure, 3290-85, 3270, 3260-50, 3220, 3200.

Close above 3350 would nullify my analysis.

I was about to ask if anyone had an answer to the abrupt pullbacks on the M1 chart, then the bigger pulldown came. They looked like warning shots from the bears.

Stopped out at a small profit. It's 14:00 over here, the Americans are awake now. I'm out for today. There is no narrative.

For me, the best time to trade gold is between 8:00-13:00 GMT+1. After that, there is just too much noice on the line.

Would like to see a push from the bulls into this higher timeframe point of interest above around 3330, either now or after taking LDN Low, whichever they decide to do. Might ride the wave to the area of interest but just depends on volume and structure

Something may come out of the US China talks in the next few hours, watch out for volatility.
I still have a protected short at 3327 opened in london session with initial tp at today's Asian low, may adjust lower depending on pa.

Again on 50% fib level. would expect slow sideways chop as next time line is a bit far in time.
