My Forex strategy: +541.65% verified on MyFxBook

I know the Commercial section of trading forums is often full of exaggerated promises, hype, and empty sales pitches.
I don't want to add to that, so let me start right away with full transparency, sharing my links to MyFxBook for the strategy I'm going to introduce:

A little bit about me:
My name is Federico Sellitti. I'm a certified wealth manager and quant trader, actively trading Forex since 2007 and full-time since 2016. I’m also a top Popular Investor on eToro, with a transparent track record primarily focused on stock investments.

A little bit about the strategy:
In 2023, I was hired by a private hedge fund to handle their Forex portfolio. Most of my existing methods relied heavily on trend-following and momentum strategies, which performed well but left us vulnerable during retracements. So, I revisited and enhanced an old retracement-based approach with my quantitative team. We initially added it as a defensive measure to balance the portfolio.
Surprisingly, it became our best-performing strategy for two consecutive years.
I then personally applied it to my own trading account, starting small to test it under different trading conditions with my retail broker (IC Markets).
With an aggressive approach, the strategy returned +541.65% ($21,952.24 profit) in just under five months.

Now, I know many people are tired of support, resistance, trend lines and other abstract concepts that have no proof of profitability and no backtest or hard data that can be analyzed. This strategy provides a systematic approach, with clear entry and exit rules, position sizing, and risk management guidance, so there's no chart analysis involved, no guesswork.

Another month behind us, here’s how the system performed in June:

1. Monthly Return: +1.7%
2. Overall Return: +3.7%
3. Monthly Profit: $93
4. Overall Profit: $186
5. Monthly Net Pips: +1664

7. Max Monthly Drawdown: -0.5%
8. Max Overall Drawdown: -0.7%

Third month for the system, third consecutive month of profit.
I recently got a question regarding why the return might seem "low", and I'd like to briefly address that here as well.
Return by itself doesn't tell the full story. Risk-adjusted return is a far better way to evaluate a trading system. To put it simply, imagine you took exactly the same trades but multiplied your risk by 20 times. Your monthly profit for June would have been around +34%, and your overall profit for these first 2.5 months would have been +74%, while still maintaining a respectable maximum drawdown of around -14%.
I deliberately keep my risk and drawdown low because trading is my full-time occupation. Losing my accounts doesn't just mean losing money. It would also mean losing my job.
Although the account I'm sharing publicly only has around $5000, I manage its risk with exactly the same discipline as I do with my larger, private accounts.
