Hi Snirodha, this might help — I personally skipped this setup even though all the rules were met. The reason was that price reacted aggressively to the previous week's high, and the entry would’ve been right at the daily open. On top of that, the stop loss was quite large, making it hard to even reach 1R — not ideal.
That said, you can still choose to take these trades, but it’s important to recognize that they come with higher risk..

Absolutely — break-even is always better than taking a loss. And for this particular trade, I wouldn’t change anything. My target would’ve been the previous day’s high anyway, which was well above our 2R level.

Another invalid trade — even though all the rules were met, there was no proper structure and no clear objective level to place the stop loss.

As I mentioned before, with enough screen time, you'll be able to catch trades like this. It was a quick 2R move, but if you held it longer due to the TTM Squeeze gaining momentum and MACD looking strongly bullish, your ideal target could’ve been the previous day’s high or just 2–3 pips below it.

Hey! By “no real proper structure,” I mean that even though the setup met the basic rules, there wasn’t a clear swing high to place the stop loss safely. Usually, we get an initial signal and then a confirmation that price respects that signal before entering. But in this example, the confirmation didn’t really validate the initial signal.
Regarding MT4, I don’t have a ready-made version of reversionX. You’d have to manually add all the indicators yourself. Sorry about that—I mainly use tradingview...

Trade Breakdown

  1. Trade 1 – No clear structure or recent high for stop loss placement – Invalid setup
  2. Trade 2 – Confirmation came after 13 candles; not ideal, but MACD was losing momentum – if taken, it ended in a loss
  3. Trade 3 – Price had already crossed and closed below the basis line – Invalid or high-risk setup
  4. Trade 4 – Clean and proper classic setup
  5. Trade 5 – Same as Trade 3; closed below basis line before confirmation – Invalid or high-risk setup
  6. Trade 6 – Clear and well-structured valid setup
  7. Trade 7 – Clear and well-structured valid setup

Depending on your risk tolerance, you could have avoided a few of these trades or taken them all with adjusted expectations.

Yes this is what i am asking. You have mentioned you took the below trade but it has green dots on all of the aqua bars. Sorry i am new to TTM this is why i am asking. Thank you.

Hi Snirodha, First of all, no need to be sorry! Regarding your question, if you look closely, I didn’t enter the trade when there were green dots with aqua bars. I entered after the appearance of two blue bars. Take your time and go through the previous posts—you’ll understand better. And if you’re stuck, feel free to post here anytime!

Thanks a lot for the explanation Rishee. Since we are waiting for 2 confirmation bars(blue or pink) on TTM can i assume we don't have to worry about it then ?

Hi Snirodha... I am really sorry, I don't know what you are referring to to but there is no pink in TTM squeeze

Only one trade today. Trend was looking bearish so I took a sell and reached 1:2. MACD and squeeze had a nice uniform shape.

Hi rishee,

Firstly, I would like to say thank you for sharing this system.

USDJPY - This one took a while to hit TP.
GBPUSD - For this trade, I got out a bit early after that bearish engulf. In hindsight, maybe I should have held on longer so I could have moved to BE.

Would like to have your insights on any of the trades. Also, what would you do say if another signal appears while you are still on a trade like on the UJ example?
