Setup Breakdown:

  1. Trade 1: You know the drill — price had already made its move and closed above the basis line. No trade taken.
  2. Trade 2: A classic setup, but resulted in a loss.
  3. Trade 3: Took time to confirm, but MACD was steadily losing momentum. Decent entry — ended in a win.
  4. Trade 4: Another textbook setup, closed at breakeven.
  5. Trade 5: Clean setup, followed all rules — ended in a win.

Based on your risk appetite, you might’ve skipped some or taken them all. The only way to truly refine your edge is to either backtest thoroughly or — my preferred approach — start small and track your trades live.
And above all, journal everything. Patterns only emerge when you consistently review your actions, outcomes, and decisions. That’s how real growth happens.

Hey! The red arrows you're seeing relate to RSI confirmation after the initial signal. If RSI doesn’t meet the confirmation condition right away, the script will continue to print arrows on each bar (up to the max confirmation bars you’ve set — e.g., 2 bars). So if RSI confirms late, say on the 2nd bar, you’ll see two arrows before the confirmation is valid. To show only one arrow per setup, just set the “RSI Confirmation Bars” to 0 in the settings.

Nice setup overall — stop-loss was a bit wide, and entry was near the basis line. Since it’s Friday, I took a quick 1R and called it a day. You could’ve moved the stop to breakeven and let it run, but that’s just my style.

Two trades for today, both on AUDCHF. The first one hit 1:2 and the second stopped at breakeven +1. Happy weekend everyone.

Clean setup on Gold ended in breakeven. Came close to hitting TP, but it was early Monday before the New York open — not the most ideal timing. Still, a valid setup nonetheless.

Hi Rishee, You got any examples where you didn't take the trade because of the dot colour on ttm squeeze ? Thank you.

Hi, could you please clarify your question a bit more? Just to confirm — if there’s a green dot with red bars or aqua bars, I personally wouldn’t take the trade.

Trade 1: Classic setup — ideally, you should have exited when an opposite signal appeared with confirmation, or at the very least moved your stop loss to break even.
Trade 2: Not an ideal trade. The stop loss placement was tricky since the high of the entry candle would’ve been your stop. Still, if you took it, it ended in a loss.
Trade 3: Classic setup — clean and by the book.

It’s interesting — when we first look at the arrows and see the price movement, it feels like we could trade every setup. But it’s the rules that make all the difference and give us the real edge.

Trades Breakdown
Trade 1: Price had already moved and closed below the basis line, making this an invalid or high-risk setup if taken.
Trade 2: Not ideal, as confirmation came after about 10 candles. However, with MACD steadily losing momentum, it wasn’t a bad entry overall.
Trade 3: Another invalid or high-risk trade if taken — setup didn’t align properly.
Trade 4: Classic, clean setup — textbook example.
