Just started re-reading your NITS thread again (in combo with this one and your latest one) and it is starting to click ..
Based on that i'm getting the feeling that we are actually looking for a rejection thrust bar to get us lined up. Is this correct?
Another impression i'm getting is that it appears you are also aiming for the >=7.5X with this methodology?
If so, are you also using the SL - TP schedule as presented in the NIST thread?

I'm not an avid poster (yet) but i appreciate your approach and it resonates with me, hence the questions.
Please, a yes/no reply would be more than adequate for me, no exhausting yourself on my account.

Hi FXnl,
The NITS and this system use similar and used together give you the ultimate trading system.
If you miss one type of entry you can take the other or both.
My belief is that if a pair is going to move it will move at least 80% of the daily range so 7.5R targets are possible on the majority of trades.
That's why taking profits at 1:1R or 2R is a waste of time.
All it takes is commitment and being able to see through the Bull dust.
Soldier on, it's worth it.

With the close inside bands system you won't always get 7.5R. I use 30m SnR and Pivots for the TP
TP could be 3R it could be 10R. I'll post the Pivot indi later

All clear and i most certainly will continue. Whilst reading through the NITS i also started to make a summary containing most of your remarks and charts (similar to what was done with the thread of your countryman Graeme, guessing you know which iconic thread i mean). A thread without charts is not the same .. ;-)

Already thinking about a detection mechanism as an early warning system so i might fire off one or two additional questions in the coming weeks.

Attached 3 charts with my current view on GU. This is not so much about the exact timing, more about the mechanics.
On the H4 i noticed a 'thrusty' (also hitting an snr going back to 2022 (W1))
Falling down to the H1 it gave me a double double top very close to the MA-H and a close below.
M15 looked even better and tighter (not brilliant but beggers and choosers .. ;-)). Arguably the entry could also have been made on the bar after the two Insides, for a nicer SL, but that would be nitpicking and up to personal (risk-)taste.

Does the approach make sense and match the method as presented in the thread?
