Looks like the drop has stopped and that eu will continue higher - at least the bulls are trying. Tarrifs are the reason that USD is dropping this month after the 90 days postponing them to find a deal and the drop might only be from profit taking and some fear. Unless Europe finds a way to calm things down eu should go up but it will take some time. Expect more news!

EURUSD started strong on good German news, got stuck at a key resistance, and then a sudden, big trade war threat from Trump sent it plummeting, reversing the day's gains and shifting the immediate outlook to very bearish.

1.1381 continues to offer resistance to the bulls trying to push the pair higher toward 1.1400/24. On the other hand, the bears should defend this resistance and attempt to drive the pair below the strong support at 1.1300, giving them a chance to break lower toward 1.1255.

With the weekend approaching, more news could create a gap at Monday's opening, so it’s prudent to stay out until then.

The EUR/USD ended the week with a solid bullish candle, snapping four straight weeks of losses. It climbed to 1.1375 from a low of 1.1169 after Moody's downgraded the US market, putting pressure on the dollar. Right now, the daily chart shows the uptrend holding strong, and a break above 1.1381 could push it toward 1.1424 or even 1.1500 if the bulls keep the momentum going. But if the 1.1375-1.1381 zone holds firm, we might see a pullback to 1.1300. If the bears take control and break below that level, the pair could slide to 1.1255 or even down to the 1.1200-1.1217 range next.

Trump’s tweet is not helping eu bear this time, if the trade policy keep on changing it is certainly a bad news for the dollars

will see how it develops in the next couple of hours, see if go under 1381 again pre london

The EUR/USD broke above 1.1381 resistance during the Asian session after Trump postponed the 50% tariffs he threatened Europe with on Friday until July 9th. This delay allows for further talks regarding a trading deal between the EU and the US. Currently, 1.1424 is offering some resistance at the highs, with 1.1400 and 1.1381 now supporting the pair. More details can be found on the 1-hour chart below.

Trading will be without New York today, so I wouldn't expect any fireworks in the afternoon, unless Donald T says something...

In any case, we remain in a powerful upward trend, and I would probably start buying back EURUSD in places marked on my chart.
Now, I am more inclined towards BULLS #1 arrow as "more likely to happen".

Not sure bears can lead the pair lower - 1.1320/00. Meanwhile 1.1385 is short term resistance. If bulls succeed above then 1.1424 will open again

I'll close for today, holiday volatility doesn't help! Looks like trading will continue after the Asian open but I will trade again from tomorrow. Until then bulls might revive the uptrend as long the bear is in a deep sleep!
