My FTMO $10,000 Account Challenge

If you have been following my journey on trade accountability and discipline you know I'm serious about mastering emotional discipline. I believe 60 percent of a trader's success is emotional discipline while 40 percent is strategy.

I signed up for FTMO $10k challenge to see how much I can control my emotions on a large account. I plan is to trade FTMO $100k account if I pass this challenge. I have already failed my first FTMO 10K challenge trading fiat currencies. Now I'm focusing on Gold for this challenge.

I will be documenting journey and hopefully I will not screw this up. HAHAHAHA! Wish me luck!

Gold is looking stronger to the upside since we didn't close below my support level. Trading at this zone is high risk because we are filling daily gap. If we get a correction on 15 mins I will take the buy. Only take short trades on 5 or 15 mins set ups.

So we did get that 5 mins pullback but I had no strong confluences to enter the trade. But then the market took off as I predicted.

I'm waiting for 1 hour pullback into my weak support areas (dotted lines) by tomorrow to enter long. I hate when I predict the market and it takes off without me...hahahaha. I won't sweat it. I will wait and enter a position with lower risk.

1 hour reversal pin looking good, but high risk. Entry confirmation will be above above second pin bar close.

I didn't take the trade. Didn't close above so no trade. Will wait to the correction at 50 percent for better entry.

Patience is key to success. Better to preserve your money for the winning trades than lose it on a gambling trade. I avoided a loss because I was patient and traded my plan.

Today is Friday. If the market doesn't give me a clear signal, I'll sit out the trades and resume next week. Don't be in a rush to catch every move in the market!

Lost this Friday trade. Got wicked out before it hit my TP. I was agreesive with my entry and stop loss too tight.

Daily correction. It's looking like a complex pattern. If we get to the top of the rectangle, we could pull back for a C. Will watch what the market does and trade along the trend.

I closed my position early. Anticipating a deeper correction on the daily. Plus, I wouldn't want to be in the market for the New York session.
