Hello everyone,
Sometimes trading can seem like a lonely job, and that's why I'm writing here. I want to share my trading strategy with the goal of finding people who want to use it together with me here, helping each other by better filtering entries. But I absolutely won't change the core theme of the strategy.
Only help or suggestions to improve it will be accepted, not other types of strategies.
There are hundreds of paid courses that just share nothing but aim to make money, but I’m trying to give you something completely free and profitable, with few simple and clear rules.
The market is divided into two phases: lateral (sideways) and directional. What we will do is very simple: we will wait for a congestion phase on hourly or four-hour charts, then wait for a false breakout, and buy in the opposite direction of the breakout.
This will allow us to have a great risk-reward ratio. We will have many small losses and some big profits, aiming to identify the full movement.
After a congestion phase, orders tend to accumulate at the extremes, and often before a real direction is taken, the price creates a false breakout.
This is the general strategy. Subsequently, it would be helpful to filter these breakout phases on lower timeframes. For example, you could assist by helping with this.
For instance, I simply wait for a pin bar on a 5-minute chart.
This is an example of a trade I set up yesterday evening.
Any input is welcome, but I repeat, only regarding this strategy. I don’t want to go off-topic.
