It is Friday and I decided to post "The Anatomy of the Trade"

NO FOMO! NO MindFu*k! Controlling Fear and Greed.

FOMO = Death of the Trader. Outcome is Random, +193 points at this second, but Mr. Market is always right!

Those who has been following me or red my posting, seen charts, know exactly what I mean.

Money Management(second chart) + 106 points in profit booked.

I am not trading MeBob, I am showing what it takes to be successful in trading. Read my previous posts.

Entry does not really matter, it is all about edge in Money Management and edge in Controlling MindFu*k(Fear and Greed).

I appreciate the post, Oscar, and I'd only add that it does somewhat miss the mark of the thread. What some have realized and run with while others have completley missed is that the aim of this thread is execution. Execution of s simple trading plan without error or fear, and doing so repeatedly until one no longer experinces fear of loss, fear of missing out, etc.

This thread is about the completion of Mark Douglas's trading in the zone program.

The basis of the method is a fixed bar trading methodology.

Mebob is, in my opinion, as good an entry oint into this methodology as any. Another would be opening range breakouts: M5, M30, ... M41?

Endless avenues for one to experiment.

And yet the key to getting the true value from this thread and this methodology is to pick a fixed bar on the chart of your choice, finish the trading plan with some money management rules, and then trade it, over and over and over and over. Following Mark Douglas, I suggest "20 trade exercises" or "20 day exercises" or maybe a "30 day challenge."

Filters?

Probably an unnecessary complication that will send the trader down the indicator rabbit hole (which is exactly where the market and the market makers want us traders to go) instead of focusing on flawless execution and mindful money management.

Again, I do appreciate you sharing your thoughts, and simply want to make sure the thread stays on point with respect to the source of its true value. If someone can complete a 20 day Mebob exercise, really complete it, win, lose, or draw. And then if he can do it again, then the he or she has won! It is at that point that one may shout "Let the refinements begin!" But to do so any earlier is just to stay on the sit and spin of blown accounts while riding the indicator carousel.

For those looking for the spark that will ignite their own roulette epiphanies, this guy's youtube channel has some of the best trading psych videos I'veheard in a long time.

Some will say there is nothing new, but he really has a fresh and comprehensive perspective and if you struggle with over trading, over sizing, FOMO, and revenge trading (which were all faults of mine) then his channel deserves a sub and his videos should be listened to, notes should be taken, and his ideas should be studied.
