Problem with most indicators on MT4

I am having a problem of updating the indicator on charts, will almost every indicator I use.

Take for example time series forecast .mq4 this does not update on its own, only when you change the time frames does it update.

There are many other indicators which trouble in the same manner.

What can I do to make an indicator refresh on every bar tick on its own ?

Err duno what's wrong. All indicators are re-run with every bar tick

It's only when you change charts or time periods that they are de-initialized and re-initialized.

All indicators I've ever used auto self update as price moves for every tick up and down.

Something may be wrong with your meta trader install. Have you tried re-installing it from scratch?

Perhaps one of the indicators is badly written and is affecting all the others?

Try turning off all indicators and start with the default indicators that come with meta trader. If they work, progress through your custom ones until you find the one that is acting up.

Thats all I can think of. A process of elimination.

I am not sure what indicators that is that your having trouble with but if its one you have downloaded and not one that comes with the charts...It just may be that it is not an indicator but a script.....scripts only run once when you load them...while indicators will update on each tic if designed to do so...


Also if you have downloaded it...maybe its just a not so good indicator....I resently downloaded one and it is doing the same as your problem not updating...but I think its just the indicator itself...poor design..or even something has changed with any updates to the MT4 programming.
