Hey Inthebox - Do you trade without a solid stoploss or do you just have a very wide stoploss?

Could you indicate where your stop was on that chart - I would assume many would be stopped out by the liquidity sweep before the final more.

i am of a less risk averse kind of trader.
my stop loss is not a hard stop. it is a swing point around a htf snr (of which i am very dependent on) requiring a candle close.
for example,
if i put on a full lot size, stop loss will be a m5 or m15 candle close beyond the swing point.
if i decided to cost average with 0.01 - 0.1 size, then stop loss would be much more lax depending on the position size.
it can be a day candle close or h1 close beyond the swing point. swing point can also be at a session high low.

in the chart the swing point is the blue engulf zone that i had drawn. i get out when there is a h1 candle close below it.

a daily candle close above previous 3 candles. so needless to mention which direction we choose to trade.
