I think the situation may differ (perhaps some negative outcomes, but it will not be completely the same).
The system of government and the mechanisms for issuing and monitoring decisions have a significant impact (so the comparison may not be entirely fair).

There are decisions that can be overturned in court (in the absence of parliamentary oversight, as is currently the case).

Finally, the midterm elections are less than two years away, and Trump's first term in office will certainly have a significant impact on the results.

The Philippians had a government similar to the u.s. government. When their congress/courts didnt do their job. It stopped working..Hungaria about the same. Germany took 6 weeks to end theirs. The minority took over. The rest were forced to follow. Kinda like now. People were intimidated not to speak out. A dollar is only worth a dollar if we have rules of law. When you remove the rules, by not following them.. The dollar is worthless because the laws would be worthless. Governments live and they die. If this one dies Americans may be left with Confederate dollars. A new government could outlaw them. Pick up a history book if they haven't burned them all. The Romans lasted 1000 years. The downfall was a crazy leader. The poor paying taxes given to the elite didnt help

1.135 or a bit higher still R
But if we close the day higher than that I think it can be again bull.
But for the moment still R. and maybe same range.

I am a net short here in this area but if we close today bullish Ill have to long again from tmr.

But it could push more. I think its attracted to 1367/68. But 1367 may develop into R later. it may be R-ish already

1.136x is a good time to tp L here for me. I will likely short in this area too. I think it will hit 1367/68

I may have missed the long, later maybe tonight and later below 1305 is probably b/o bearish. but above its neutral and supportive. if support, an attraction to 1338 is probable. B/o may start sustained above 1359.. But it has other Rs likely to slap it down some, like 1367/68 and 91. Pa may just be setting up a range near 1.14 1.13.. It 100 pips ish. The next stall is probably 100ish pips above/below the range. Monday's move so far is about 1/2 adr. It dont look to be in a hurry to do much.
1305 to 1358 with some outer wicks may range pa. It needs to run on either side. It will likely be back to the range and 1338 or 1367/68. PA ranges most of the time. Late Spring and early Summer till Labor dayish or Oct. usually is a range

PA has not made a LL yet. I lean it will make that LL. toward 1.0802. Its likely to be attracted to 1338. I see R 1367/68 91 even 141x. But you cant play for each one. Pa is missing reaching adr lately. There is probably a decent short coming. Granted the tariff talk can hurt the usd again. That's the unknown wildcard. You cant plan for it outside of a stop-loss. LC is 1338. We missed barely 1368 today earlier. Anytime now but better 1338 or higher, maybe 1368 is a good place for the R/R to short. tp 1120 or 0950. Yeah in the way is still 1278 1244 and thos lows breaking. But the risk is closing strong above 1375/91. Its worth looking weakness in the bulls 1338/68 imo

so far wrong about 1338. It went to 1320..the low about 1280. B/o sustained below bearish is likely 1300 now (was 1294). I was away so i didnt see the move.
I may long toward 1338 if I get an exhaustion signal. Not monitoring much atm busy. But if it's the real deal it may not run back to 1338 or 68.. I opt more for a range. 1338 and maybe 1368. It could just run past the LL 1278 ect. It probably will at some point. But most often pa ranges
