Anyone else having problems logging in or keeping a connection to Oanda lately?

Just curious.
FXtrade's been down for a couple of hours now.

Got disconnected from their forum a few minutes ago.....will try shortly,
Still got forum connection ... FXTrade has been down for a couple of hours - Had a brief return about 45 minutes ago then went down again about 2 minutes later.
I'd have thought there would be multiple redundancies in place to prevent this?

You would think so... I spoke with live help and they wouldn't admit a problem but said that they would look into the "issue". I guess this isn't just me having an isolated problem
I'm back on the forum....maybe it was a dropout my end....don't want to raise the panic level unnecessarily.
Michael Stumm admitted 'technical difficulties' on the forums about 2 hours ago but there's been no update since then. It's disconcerting not knowing whether SL are going to be executed or not!

Not only Japan but also the US? When I saw 2ch(largest Japanese Internet forum), many Japanese traders also have posted OANDA's server down(login trouble) since round noon.
Oh, yes. My computer is unable to login to OANDA(my FXtrade) even now, too...

Back up again now ... If we could just wind the charts back to the low of 2 hours ago so that I can exit a trade - I'd be a happy man!

Same here. My stops and limits were not filled during the disconnection. Luckily that worked out good for me. Hopefully things will be back to normal.
Ah, now my FXtrade can connect to OANDA's server. In 2ch, other Japanese traders also posted the recovery of FXtrade. Thank you.

how guys like oanda? aside form the outage this morning how do you rate them?
Oanda is GREAT and 'FAR OUT' !!! Some things are lacking, like crapy charts etc... but their service is great... and to be ale to trade any size trade I want is the best thing one could ask for !!!

I also wish they would make the USD/JPY price go down right now... but I guess that would be asking a lot !!

It's not the first time I hear this, and I always wonder: what's so crappy about the charts at Oanda that people keep bragging?
Peoples opinions of the charts depends on the user and the method the system they choose. Honestly I can't stand using any other charts except for oandas.
I know exactly what you mean.. I'm interested in hearing from someone who finds the charts at Oanda bad, crappy, or other terms used

Im currently located on the west coast USA and am an Oanda platform user. Why is it that the daily candles are one day behind? Im trying to figure pivot points by scrolling over the previous days candle but its the day before yesterdays candle. Anyone else have this. I know the daily candles open at 2100 Pacific coast time. But how do I go about figuring Pivots in this situation?

wow this is unacceptable. 2hrs of outage without being able to close positions? very disappointing. im sticking to MBtrading.
