put on a horizontal line on the bounce. look left.
there are 4 market opens.
asia open
london open
new york open (when there is no news)
new york stock exchange open

it just happen that gold bounced during new york for the 7th day.
you have to notice the pattern this 2 weeks.

Thank you for your explanation! Is there a snr level support on the left side? But I was thinking that it would rebound to this four-hour EG position and then sell.

yes. many support. also in the direction of daily trend. this is stronger than your counter trend bearish engulf.

@inthebox, few questions, here the 1st and 2nd break lines are those coming from h4/daily snr levels?
Also the second example (in the picture) is this a valid entry?
If market dont come back to the current session, will this be valid for next session?

Tought I wanted to test out this strategy, after doing some backtesting on older charts.

I have tried to make it even more mechanical and I am using heiken ashi candles to make it more obvious.

My personal rules are as follows

1. Price has to make two breaks for a valid setup and there has to be volume in the market.
2. Once second break retraces we enter on first strong heiken ashi candle
3. Stoploss below/above the swing
4. TP 1:2 (have found that this works best doing my backtest, to secure a high winrate)
5. No second trade if a third break occurs (this might change, but for now, only 1 trade per swing)
5. If I lose 2 trades in a row - the day is over
6. If I win a trade i am able to continue until I have my first losing trade.
7. Just 1% per day will make you 1242% in a year due to compounding interest (Given you don't withdraw)

Made two trades on JPN225 doing asian session following the above rules, giving me 4R for the day.

key snr levels are from h4 and above (at times h1). the higher time frames the better. 2b2b are lower entry time frames.
the candle did not close but violated 2nd break on m1. however in smaller time frame like 30sec there may be a candle close.
the important thing is the 2nd base engulf zone. price left the zone and came back to test and closed above the zone.
always look at current happening for m1. the swing points are too small to have any significant impact later unlike the higher time frames.
