Hi now that we are using the 20ema hi/low to filter our trades how shall we use the winner_1 alarm, I'm assuming we set MA 1 to 20 and MA2 and MA3 to 0.
I see you mention winner_3 alarm is that not posted as yet.

Observing MIKA indicator behavior and spotted some arrows not displayed on break? Can you clarify this? Thanks

It's time to explain MIKA a bit better.

I mainly use it for exit signals. So find a trending pair. Wait for a pullback. Enter at the signal as normal. It could be CCI changing colour. Confluence maybe with MACD.

Now you are in the trade. The bars will run inside the MIKA channel. In a Long direction it is ok if the bars break the channel to the upside. That is a sign of a fine momentum.

At some point, a bar will break the channel to the opposite side of the trend. This is your exit signal. You will experience, that you do not lose all those pips that you do using other exit indications.

Sometimes a bar break to an exit signal and right away on the next bar go back inside the channel. If the break is small, then it can be an advantage to place a stoploss below the bar. If it goes back into the trend, then you get more pips, otherwise you get out.

NOTE!!!! A wick is NOT an exit signal. We are only talking close of bars.

Note, the indicator can show arrows and it can be helpfull to observe them, but it is much better to observe the pullback and bounce of a trending moving average and use CCI/MACD as enter signals.

The original system which I found at the profile of Mikajap, had a rule that there would not be painted 2 arrows next to each other which is both breaking the channel. That is the explanation. I coded that rule too.

But still, I do not really use those arrows.

It is a bit hard though this April. The Trump tariffs made those big bars the first days in the month and after that bars has been small and ranging at many pairs. So I look forward to the breaking of the high/low of those Trump bars so that we can get some normal charts back.

I normally does not look at anything else that the curves. Not even the news. But this is interesting.

Here we have USD/CAD. During the 4 biden years we had this nice channel showing Dollars in a fine shape.

From January till now, the Trump policy has managed to let the price fall to the bottom of the channel. Normally we would now be ready to go long. But what will happen? Will the channel be broken? That can give a lot of nice trades in this pair.

One more. During 2025 price has fallen below the range and is now on a pullback. I am sure that we get a bounce on that one - and some nice trades.

Not sure what you mean? This is a typical normal trend and it has not been broken. As long as it has not been broken, I will trade every time a bar cross down on the EMA.

When the trade has been taken, then I use another template where I follow it on MIKA.I trade it on M30.

hi, one question. AS All jpy pairs are breaking out. Should we wait for daily bar to close above 20 ema or we can start taking entries on m30?

yep got it, was referring to your usdchf chart which has some lines on it but i understand.

I am a Closed Bar man. You never know what might happen the rest of the day and the analysis are made on the closed bar.

But that is my oppinion. You just make your own.
