I'll jump in on this bandwagon!
I myself have started to have an accountability partner type thing with my trades.
I've taught my wife the entire strategy that I use.
I show her my 20 or so trades a day.
When she finds one I took against my rules, she goes "why the fuck did you take that trade dumbass?!"
And I go, " yo right though"
And then Iearn!
Lol

Haha I feel that, I sometimes thought about whether I should teach my wife how to trade my setups... its perfect, because she has no clue at all about Trading. I am pretty sure she would be more profitable than I, because she wouldn't mess up by Overthinking things!

Having experience is a powerful weapon... but it can also be an disadvantage.

NY opens in 30Minutes, its Monday.. I wont be too quick to go into trades.
Mondays usually like to "fuck you up" before it moves.

NASDAQ Short - 1.2R Win - Manual Exit

Thoughts on Todays Trading so far:

I am happy that I didnt take the Long Setup that I have got in the initial first 20mins.
I reminded myself that's Monday and that I should wait for a bit "more".
In return I hesitated to take the Short Setup. Despite me favouring the Short in this NY session.

The hesitation saved and "lost" me Money today.

The 2nd Short Setup which I took for the 1.2R Win was good, it wasnt perfect though.
Time of the Day was wrong. I normally dont trade at this time of the Day.

It was a win, but with a bad aftertaste.

Hi Cog,
This is the way I would get into a short trade.(Using a pullback entry)
Break out entries don't have the best return because a fair amount of price movement has already occurred by the time the breakout takes place.

Thanks for sharing the Chart!

I only enter Trades when the current 30Minute Candle goes into the same direction.
So if I short on the 1Minute chart.. the 30Min Candle must be bearish.
I dont shoot for big Rs.

At least Trading the open how I do.

Its already challenging for me to stick with my trades till 2R.
I would shit my pants holding the R multiples you are shooting for.
Tons of respect for that.
