but you only can draw the channel after the fact of printed price, correct ?
and when price break the channel to change direction, you need to wait for at least 2 high's and 2 low's to draw the new channel with the new direction, correct ?
don't you think you'll be more focused on drawing channels than trading ? and maybe you can't trust your trades because you're not sure about the channels.
if what you're looking for is direction and channel breakout, you don't need to analyze with lines, BB can give you dynamic direction and range and breakout.
all you need is the correct setting to have accurate direction, in M5 the best setting is the session(8hours) period, BB setting = 96
by looking at the chart, BB is working like the channels and give you breakout after a sideway stage. so be careful when it's in low range and flat, and catch the new direction after the breakout. like everything else it need practice for awhile.
