I'm surprised but i dont know Mt4 . given the daily EMA's are used to give trend direction i dont kniow that it will make much differnce to the strategy. Can you post a daily chart with the relevent EMA's on for an FX pair of your choice I will then post my equivalent and lets see how they look

Heres my D1 USDJPY Chart as of right now with EMA's and the oscillators. How does it compare? do you get a differnt entry signal?

Axecap - attached my USDJPY D1 chart as well (for mostly the same period).

I get entry signals at the bar close of below dates (mm/dd/yyyy) as shown in vertical red lines in the screenshot:

  1. 01/15/2025: short
  2. 03/17/2025: long
  3. 03/21/2025: long
  4. 04/03/2025: short

So that looks good to me. They both give the same information needed for the strategy. ther os no confusing the days that give signals or the overall trend. When you drop to a 30min chart they will be identical for the purpose of entering or exiting.
Of Course RF may a have more to say about that.

My only trade this week. It was no good on M30.

I have a Prop account with a company named FTUK. Got it months ago and suddently they stopped using MT4. So now I am using an awful tool called MatchTrader. I plan to use this Daily strategy on that account.

I still hope to have profit on D1. RRW 1:1 bring the pair on a level not seen since 2016, so i aim for that only.

I made an exit robot and posted it here:

Will code a possibility to use high or low on the EMA when I find the time. Until then - if you are not at the screen, then the Supertrend exit can give some nice runs also.

Of cause you need to watch for the actual position of the Supertrend if you use it. In this case the exit robot would close the trade right away. Hmm - might have been a good idea.

I looked back at the GBPCAD pair with the ST indicator on it. Our strategy typically jump into a trade some bars before the Supertrend. Then when ST change to the right trend direction, the exit robot can be added to the chart.

I made a new version where it is possible to select the EMA Close, High or Low.

I use to colour the chart background if I have a trade on that instrument. This way I have a nice overview if I trade say 8 FF pairs. This is why there are some colour settings. If you don't want this function, then you must set all the colours to your chosen background colour.

Note you are using it at your own responsibility. If it does not exit as it should, it is your problem. And always use it on demo.
Note that it works on bar close only. Meaning a spike does not trigger an exit.

Important: This robot works correct only when you trade ONE portion of an instrument. If you add to your trade so that you pocess more than one trade of the instrument, then the exit robot will close only one portion at the end of a bar. There are technical reasons for this.

Yea - quite good.

I just now found my HalftrendMika. And changed what I needed. So I will upload that today. It seems to be good at stopping trading on D! and thereby M30. I expect a lot from that.

But now - time for my morning coffee.

Sometimes (often) the best value I get from an indicaror is keeping me out of trades.

Yes, that is the most important thing. Because there are loads of possible trades. But my Mika is the kind of indicator that gets you into trades quickly, so they need to be filtered by other indicators, in this case the CCI and MACD on daily.

But also in this case Mika is getting us OUT of the trade in time. When the Daily begin to slow, Mika is fast to stop trading.

are your mika settings same as TV?

So here is the Mika indicator. You don't find it anywhere else to MT4. I have made it.

Using as trading signals - both on Daily and M30
When your other filters gives a signal to buy, you can buy when a bar close over the upper Mika line.
When a bar close under the lower Mika line and you have a Long trade, then you should exit. You can reenter the trade if your filters gives the possibility.
Visa versa for sell.

Using as filtering the Daily
When CCI, MACD and Mika gives enter signal on Daily, you can enter on M30 - when the M30 filters gives the green light.
I recommend using some riskReward as exit. You will keep more pips that way.
When Mika on the daily gives a sell signal, you should stop trading M30 right away.

Arrows
They are not valid trading signals. Your filters are more important.

The Amplitude setting on HalfTrendMika is best as 1 or 1.5.

Do you know if the link you posted for the TV mika has the same default settings as you use , I dont have mt4. or can you post yor settings?
