IF the announcement from the president that negotiation with china is going well would make the market plumet, then today announcement will be like. 'Geez just dump it, now i need to go and collect it all up'.

yesterday I mentioned that all gaps are filled, and while that holds true (IMO) today I didn't make a trade to fill the gap because I noticed too many inconsistencies that told me not to take that trade. on 1 I expected price to break above it and then pull back and it DID do that, however during that time a "weird range had already started forming (3) I waited for price to break below this range and retest it before entering the market and lo and behold it did not break the range, I added a line on the 50% of that range and it rejected this equilibrium and jumped to the upside. In a weird way it jumped past number 2 creating a gap (4), this was the deciding factor for me, if price ran crossed this gap 3 times and closed below equilibrium I would have sold. But it didn't price was rejected at that equilibrium and this was a confirmation that this was now on its way to the upside (for now). Market is dead but seems there's a willingness to go higher from here.

How is the market dead when Gold has recovered $40 and sits at +1%? Is a 1% intraday move dead?

Also, it's Asian session where it typically moves slower, any experienced trader will know that.

Strong support areas are visible on the chart at different time frames - by combining them we should see in which area the candle breakout occurs and if there is a good reaction, we can enter the position.

Shorts are still valid as long as 3389 is not violated, with the current price, I would wait for at least 3340 to short, the rr is not appealing being 1:1, however, i will short if we get there small lots

I estimate 3200-3165 as the lowest gold can reach to with this waive, in the coming months (3-6), i see gold touching around 2900 as the lowest point, followed with sideways movement for up to 1 year and then pick up the pace towards higher than 3500
