Anyway I sold into it. Traders normally that is has to be filled but I Rejection candle on the M15 at 3350-3339

Trump's softening tone came earlier than expected, and gold reacts to that, which is not surprising as I'd say everything above $3k is about emotions from his policy (or his words). We'll now have to see if that can last. If they really start talking with China / making deals with others, gold would easily just fall back to $3k or even break it (temporarily). But if tomorrow Trump said I'm not rushed to make a deal or whatever, or China does not want to talk, expect $3500 to be revisited in the near term.

You've got to know at these extreme levels, gold is completely mood-driven. It does not reflect what is happening, but reflects investors' prediction of what is likely to happen.

I noticed the rejection candle too, but considering how volatile gold has been recently I was careful with it, bought at the lowest and closed at the 50% between yesterday's closing price and the past hours low. Let's see if price really does fill the gap or if it respects the rejection candle!

When it goes up by news, it goes down too, technique is meaningless. Trying to fight the trend is not good. Now is the time for the buyers to take revenge like the sellers last week. 3086 is probably good support but the 2025 peak could be 3500.
