Thats not how economics work buddy, you dont do things just cause your peers are doing so. each economy has its own unique set of challenges so cutting rates arbitrarily wouldnt be a solution for everyone. Europe is cutting interest rates because of America's trade policies which is/will affect their economies negatively. If exporting to the US is now more expensive making European manufactured goods costlier, the Europeans, Canada, Mexico..e.t.c may need to cushion the economy from the impact of those tariffs to make sure unemployment rates dont go up unsustainably. Remember unemployment rates and inflation rates are the key economic factors that central banks monitor coz they greatly influence interest rate policy. I would think Europe would have an economic reaction first due to Trump's trade tariffs, so those economies would need to lower interest rates to avert a recession (remember Europe is paying high prices for energy due to the Russia-Ukraine crisis, which America is benefiting from by reselling them gas and oil sources from Russia and other countries cheaply, and then reselling to Europe at exorbitant prices compared to Russia's prices via Nord stream which US sabotaged.

America's trade tariff wars will make prices of goods to go up in price thereby increasing consumer inflation numbers and this will have to be managed by doing what again?? by increasing interest rates. So why reduce the interest rates if you will be forced to increase them shortly after when the inflationary figures begin to line up with the impact of the trade tariffs. right now the correlation between western economies and US economy has been suspended because the trade tariffs have opposing effects. The tariffs will impact Europe form a job losses and business climate perspective so they have to cut rates to prevent or manage an economic recession, whilst in America it will affect consumer goods prices, including raw materials for the production process and this will create inflationary pressure which may have to be managed by having higher interest rates than the rest of the western countries

Saying someone should be fired just because you don't like their decisions (typical trump) - that's not how you run things, especially when you need the Fed to stay independent.

Politicians are seasonal, they can be voted out after one term. Civil servants are career people, so their decision have to be competent because they are in that position for longer periods of time and they are hired for their professional qualifications and not from their charisma and ability to fools crowds to vote them in like politicians do. Trump will make the same mistake former S.A president Zuma did back in 2017 when he fired a competent Finance minister Pravin because he was not cowering to the Presidents wishes. That caused a selloff in S.A Rand and the JSE stock exchange. President Trump needs to go slow with his intentions against Fed Chair Powell, it might backfire on the Trump admin and cause more damage to the credibility of this presidency.
