I might not be understanding your answer right but it's not just buying at support selling at resistance, I use the 4hr/daily htf snd zones just to give a bias, the important part of the strategy is the qm pattern that forms which indicates a reversal, a qm pattern forming at the extremes of a higher timeframe qm pattern increases the odds further

Is anyone else having trouble setting up s9 on another mt4 install or computer? I've only managed to get one installation working ok but all I can get now is this:

Thing is, I think I had this problem with my working installation but can't for the life me remember how I sorted it out now. The clock is frozen at the time the ea is attached but mt4 reports it as working, if I try using the manager template it loads all the graphics but the clock is still frozen and the buttons don't work.
tried installing with a different broker's mt4 installer and the same broker's, dlls are allowed, chart colours are set up as required, i've re-copied and re-downloaded files, I've tried copying the files from the working install... nothing

edit: just noticed I'm getting this error in the experts tab of terminal:
2025.04.13 18:12:48.944 S9_The_Manager_v8 USDZAR,H1: zero divide in 'S9_The_Manager_v8.mq4' (1992,87)

What currency are putting the manager on.

Thanks, yeah I've tried that again but still doesn't work, afaik the manager works on any pair as long as its not a pair that you're trading hence putting it on an exotic is logical. My working instance is on zarjpy.

Have you ticked boxs in the manager properties input

Also how are you putting the manager on the chart

You get that error when The Manager is trying to retrieve information from the Broker and is not getting it.
Wait for new week to start and see what happens.

1: Broker is off line
2: Trying to retrieve info for a pair the Broker does not support

Hi Guys

All set for another week

Im going on holiday Tuesday for nearly a month, so wont be around much.

I will be looking in when I have phone signal.

Im letting my three strategies run while Im away, that will be interesting to see how they do.

Hi all - Can someone advise please : Last week I ran all five strategies as OOTB Trading 24 Hours.
Should I be making alterations to the default settings as shown in pic. - or let it run ? All 28 pairs for the moment.

hmmm, it used to be RTFM but I guess I had better WTFV again until it sinks in. :-)

I am trying to make a fresh start trading the v8 Manager this coming week but, after following the steps in post # 482 and rebooting several times, have been unable to reset the Statistics screen. Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks.

The Stats screen gets it info from the the Account History, so whats ever in there is what it shows.
You can also add a filter by setting a Trade Comment in the settings to filter this list.

Thank you for answering. Your response was appreciated and saved for future reference. After an extended period of computer shutdown followed by a Manager restart, all data was unexpectedly cleared from my Statistics chart.

Day 1. Real Account
Hi all. I fired the The Manager this morning +2 gmt. No signals have shown so far 12 down the road, so i increased my spread to 3.5 and still no activity.
i might just have missed something important. Any suggestions fellow traders.

You really should try that, or ANY auto trader, on demo first buddy.

It looks like you have only one strategy trader loaded, you need it on every pair, otherwise the manager cant manage the trades

In your templates folder you have something called Default, when you load the strategy trader on a pair, bring the templates up and save it as a default.

So when you ask the manager to open all pairs it will open all the pairs that you have selected
