Hi Vidvad

I doubt anyone is interested in this topic so I will make the last post on this subject and brief. All Linda is saying is they hide the intend of their sizing by using iceberg orders and other exotic order types to mask their intend. Only amateur orderflow traders focus on size, professionals focus on the reaction after size order has been executed or deleted. Their real orders 100% get executed but we have to establish what’s real and what’s fake. What we are focusing on is Algorithmic price action pressure on the tape to see the ease of movement when large orders appear (are they real or fake). Does the real delta freely move price or is delta being restricted and absorbed.
Linda herself said she can read the tape quite well meaning she can see opportunities when the order book has moved intend but yet price is lagging.
Look out for a thread in the future perhaps.

Thank you very much for your thread vidvad,trading from Trinidad & Tobago here in the Caribbean,I've been reading almost all pages of the thread and keeping it simple,I placed an indicator to identify the specific bar in history,doing a backrest from Jan 2025 until present,its profitable so far and using simple price action to avoid ranges,now viewing this video,thanks again.

Often I have noticed that the market ES/SPX can have a directional move at 200pm EST or shortly thereafter,,,
I have thought that part of this may simply be the 4hr Rotation ( New 4hr candle) and larger TF traders entering exiting trades.

In the indices commodities the 4hr timing is 1hr different than currencies..
The rotation is 6am 10am 2pm 6pm(Globex open) 10pm 2am and 6am EST once again Those are the 6-4hr candle times of the 24 hr day

So thinking along the lines of MeBob and a FIXED BAR timing.... I have been looking at the 2pmEST candle,,, 2:00-2:05
and simply using it as a method of trading the new 4hr bar ,,,a simple BO of that 5min bar.....Same idea as MeBob,,,different timing.

What can we learn ? How does it perform ? Only by testing do we know,,,and with the markets greatly expanded volatility things are
always changing.

So here's a bunch of charts that show what I am talking about... I just assembled this afternoon and may contain errors..Just a quick backtest
of the last 2 weeks... I chose 2 weeks for 2 reasons the markets expanded volatility and the limit is 10 charts per post lol.. But I have more than 10 so will post a follow up as well...as we all love charts and I think we can gather more info from observing them than a bunch of my word salad ramblings lol...

Anyways....this is not mebob...just another 5min fixed time BO "IDEA"

Perhaps it helps someone with their own ideas ,,,,like this Blue guy is crazy don't do what he does ! or hey maybe I can incorporate something from
what he posted...

Just posting this all in hopes of helping others,,,

A small sneakpeak into backtesting my indicatorbob strategy - still vastly under development. Expecting ~ 80-85% winrate when i have finished implementing a couple of concepts.

One thing that i found while studying the mebob, that you guys could implement into your strategies, is when the distance from your entry to your sl (high/low of the reference bar) is larger than 1500 ticks, you should stay out, as it drops the possibilities for that trade to turn out profitable by a ton.

I will say 2pm is also when institutional traders funds etc get busy in the afternoon to balance the books for the EOD. So if one were to look at volume let's say..quite often you see an uptick at 2pm... But from simply observing the charts and the behavior of price we don't need to be analyzing the volume....

The more simple your trading plan is the less likely we will screw things up...

I'm not at my desk...so this is off my phone...not sure how the charts will look like but here it is..

ES another +10 +20.... I did not trade this as I don't trade form my phone.

Stop doing more. Start doing less, better.

Master one setup Execute it with as little emotion as you possibly can

Review your trades

Repeat for 1 month... Repeat for 3 months

That alone will take you further than 90% of traders

Because you don’t need more confidence You need more evidence.

Follow your system for 30 days.

And watch confidence show up from focused execution of your plan.

We as humans want to Overcomplicate things..Its in our DNA !
WHY ? Because we always want to control outcome and in this business
that will cause you to fail 100% of the time...No ifs ands or buts.

So dont delay because you have complicated things so much you cant
execute or your executions are sporadic at best....

STOP and SIMPLIFY

ONE SETUP
ONE TIMEFRAME
ONE PLAN
ONE ROUTINE !!!

THATS IT !!!!

Stop overcomplicating and EXECUTE..

We can only control our risk, our entry, our exit.
Make it SIMPLE and FOCUS on MASTERING ONE SETUP on ONE TIMEFRAME and EXECUTE.
Let the OUTCOME reveal itself..and if needed make adjustments.

This is why MEBOB SHINES !!!!...Because it forces you to execute every single trading day...

You don't need to know if price is above or below VWAP or any moving average....You don't need to know if an oscillator is oversold
You don't need to know the volume of any bar or delta.
You don't need any of that shit...
You just need to execute and discover whom you are as the outcome takes shape...

Step up to the plate and start swinging......

I say all of this,,,mmm,,,as if I'm taking to myself...This is all to me...to always remind myself everyday to stop
overcomplicating shit...execute your plan ruthlessly and let the chips fall where they may.. We cant control outcome
we can only control our executions...entry stoploss take profit. And I say it to anyone else listening with a pulse.

This forum is full of systems threads and whether the methods have edge or not I don't know.
BUT I DO KNOW THESE METHODS HAVE EDGE....but YOU have to execute to find out for YOURSELF.
