Whale, I agree. I see people sitting on 300 pips of DD and wonder how many diapers they changed when the market went against them that much... and it doesn't matter the size of the lot ( $10, or 2.5 cents)...it's fricken 300 pips and lost opportunity.

insane.. check out gold chart, GU move is a puppy next to it.

I didn't trade gold, but I'd seen the chart. I trade only during the NY session, sometimes, I open the trade in Tokyo hours if my trade is triggered by 10 pm NY time.

Added: Sorry, it's gold futures chart b/c I can't trade spot.

Today, I didn't do anything during the afternoon session, I waited for setup for counter-trend trade when the range reached 175 pips. It was a miscalculation, but don't complain.

I got what I came for. The market cooperated with my choice today. I should have taken partial profit at point (1) but was fooled by the strong move down. I survived ret. to point (2) and finally got my target. If GU goes down more today, it will do it without me.
