A retrace may be to VA (Value area) around 38.2-50 Fib, but the direction is definitely south targeting the dashed green lines.

Yesterday close was irrelevant: Uncertainty, indecision and inside the previous huge candle. Until clear direction, we've today Trump's ultimatum to China with additional 50% tariffs if China does not step back from its retaliation of 34%. China has additional tools: sell US Treasuries which will trigger a worldwide crise and particularly in USA.
Along this, we've some cracks within Trump billionaires, including E. Musk, who start showing frustration with tariffs.

We got a breakout to the upside. Price is close to VA. I won't touch it until Trump's news on China. I'm interested to sell it.

I think this is a dead cat bounce. Tariffs are still on, there will be back and forth talks, threats, negotiation, but i still think s&p500 drops further before recovering to the bullish side. His narrative is not changing, FED is not stepping in or doing anything for now.

Here we go. Breakout down... waiting for a retest to jump in.

Just read about the 104% tariffs on China tomorrow.
And now on the 4H we have a 2nd rejection of the 50% fib level. Additionally, an engulfing 4H candle is forming.
Went short on US500 this time, but should play out all the same.

End of Day Analysis!

1- We got Red daily close but inside the previous 2 days. A continuation has the least resistance. If you're not in already, it's too late; unless quick in and out.
2- Tariffs enter in play from mid-night tonight (NY time). Asian and European sessions will be very active.
3- China retaliation via additional tariffs and/or selling US treasuries. This will make the whole market in a dangerous situation. I added a new key level from October 2023 that is reachable in this scenario where the FED continues being death.
4- FED intervention or just delaying the entry in play of tariffs for later (e.g., 90 days rumors), price might jump up to 18800 within minutes.

So, it's very risky environment. Quick in and out with Stop loss is the only way to trade it.

Today might be another historic day in US self-destruction! Pay attention to Bonds! 10y and 30y are skyrocketing! And yet China did not sell US treasuries!
i reiterate: quick in and out is the strategy; otherwise stay sidelines.
Let see the opening range and seek quick opportunities.

The opening range range bullish and Trump is telling you that is a good opportunity to buy and be cool!
Not interested to buy; I pass until we got a down breakout and retest.
