I moved to futures a few years ago, will not go back to the FX world. However, FX can be traded as a futures contract.

I like the mechanics of contracts much better. A futures account typically also allows trading options. Its a bigger world that can also be traded with micro contracts if one is nervous or short of capital.

What's odd is that this post, their first post, was approved as a new member, while others usually go through several moderated posts before getting approved.

I still prefer forex as compared to futures, even though the spread is higher. It is just my personal prefererences.

One problem with trading futures instead of spot is, even though it's nice that the price is centralized, a lot of the pairs aren't available. For example, I don't think one could trade GBPNZD on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, etc.

First W= WHAT move the market
2nd W= WHEN is the market moving (time)
3rd W= WHERE the market is going ( direction)
4th W= WHICH pair is moving at that point in time

If a trader is strongly focused on foreign exchange, then futures are likely not his best choice. I wanted to do stock indices and gold.

May be you are not consistent in 1 system. Or you can do over trading at all.
