I had already taken a trade on the previous h4 candle, based on other technicals i use. This is me looking at this setup in hindsight and trying to understand how you trade with the 2ma(s). I did indeed go to a lower tf to get a better look at it.

At point of entry (arrows) blue should be more or less on the same line to the right of yellow.

the reason why we look for dojis or small body candles is because the blue line(open) stays still, and only yellow one(close) moves, right? I thinking I am starting to get the idea behind your strategy. we will need 1 more lesson were you reveal one of your holy grail mysteries as you put it lols. Going more in depth into this would actually be more than welcome.

edit: didn't see you already commented on the blue lines lol.

sharp yellow, blue on the right, breaks through the support, and doesnt close above it.

do we not take this because it coincided with the news, or is there something i am missing?

The best time to trade is the US session after all the numbers are out of the way. The market become steady and moves gradually, no jumping up and down.
