The idea is a good one. However, I have a question forjamesagnew. The purpose of the zig zag indicator is not clear to me. That's because the zig zag indicator is lagging, and it cannot tell when market will reverse. In the context of this system, how can you draw a trendline if the zigzag hasn't changed direction? It is easy to show the strategy on historical chart where zigzag has already been drawn. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The swing points on his chart repaint, and once price finally moves away from the last repainted "swing point" it will look like the system performed incredly well. The problem is on a live chart when price continues to move up and up and the swing points constantly changes, and you're trying to base your entry of a relocating point. Then you to factor in the "projected 10 candle" functionality and now you're really looking at arbitrary and subjective conditions. This system is hopeless in my opinion.
