went 5% this month.....risk engine dropped from 1.46 to 1.18. So still earning more than I actually make in the MT5. I have now adjusted my trade sizes slightly higher to accommodate for the smaller multiplier, so actually $$$$ earned should be the same. Multiplier dropped by approx 20%, so increased trade size 20%.

You haven't earned until your quarter is up. Right?
I think your earnings are still to be determined.
The earnings displayed are as temporary in nature as your ranking.

March SUUUUUCKED!! but I crossed 75 on the last day, last minute. I trade USD based pairs and it was VERY hard for them to get any momentum thanks to Trump. GBPUSD was a FANTASTIC March mean-reversion trade. Luckily my USDJPY were able to tread water even though they were also slower than normal. A couple days before the end of the month I was barely over 75 but decided NOT to freeze. I would have went down to 30K but didnt sweat it since the 100K is active.

On the LAST DAY I was under 75 and caught a nice 80 pip trade that pushed me over the line. I had to wait until the stats recomputed this morning to verify it since after the win I also caught a small loss. LOL!! - That was a nice surprise!! After looking at the past month which 'during' the weeks looked like an underperforming algo, its a nice revelation to find out that its a GREAT fighter against turbulence and rough seas.

I'm JAZZED for April since after about 8 months I took the last week of March off and instead of 'relaxing', I made some critical updates to my code. At his point its hard for me to find 'tweaks' that have real impact and this week with a relaxed mind I found a WHOPPER!! so I'm excited and anticipating Aprils results.

Update to that account..as you see, my green 3.43% in March ended in a a red 5.99% to end the month.
So, I had to dig myself out of that one.
I still have 2 months left of the allocation left.
So far surviving the mayhem in April and the month has just started. God help us.

Hello everyone, great thread. I'm a long time trader just getting started with d-zero (ticker BZCP). I have a question about how allocations/payouts work.

Let's say I have made it to gold and 1,000,000 is allocated to me through investors.

If I make 3% in a month does this mean I make $4500?

Formula = 3% of 1,000,000 = 30k (profit for investors) then I get 15% of that (30k) = $4500

I think this is correct, I just want to confirm.

Darwinex is great. On Friday I had around 6% loss (max. reached 10%) and still continue. Other prop firms have a DD limit.

Exactly correct. Only other part of formula is what you earn on the MT4/MT5 will then either be multiplied or decreased by the risk engine. You may earn 10% on the platform, but 12%, 14% or 6% on the actual allocation.
I am a risk adverse trader, my risk engine is usually above 1, so I multiply and I prefer it that way. Others either trade larger, hold longer, trade more volatile instruments, etc, their risk engine maybe under 1.
The great thing is, you can see your risk engine in real time, so you can simply adjust your position size to compensate for the engine.

You won't know what you're in for until after you've been in it for at least 3 months.

So early in the month. Good Work! - If you're confident in your strategy I would prob keep trading until it dropped down to 76. Dont let it drop below 75 this first month since you want to lock in 30K times 3 months. Once you secure a new allocation you can YOLO the first of the 3 months since you have 2 months left to earn additional allocations while still trading an active one. (you have have 3X overlapping SILVER allocation that last 3-months)

You may qualify for more than 30K. I've already hit mine as well, but since I missed last month, I am aiming for 60K to get back to the 90K total.
Of course, you also earn more in PF, the higher your returns.
On the flip side, you don't want to give back something you've already secured...... which is trading in a nutshell. All about risk/reward.
