The trend line from the 10 period projection back does not appear to be 14 pips. Its a recent higher low and there may be some logic to that, but its more like 30 pips.
or am I missing something.

Please look at the last chart you posted declaring 5 wins. As far as I can tell, only the last win followed the rules from your first post.

I think he meant 14 candles as per post 1.

filter for bad trades

instead of 10 candles to the right make it 20 candles to the right

this will stop you being stopped out more often

OK....here is a simple explanation in chart form of what I believe JA has already explained, which is pretty clear and simple to me, but apparently not to anybody else.

I should add, this method is certainly not the way that I would arrive at an entry level, there are better ways so far as I'm concerned, but nevertheless his approach has some merit and probably works.

Remember, I am not here to hijack his thread, I'm just clarifying the way I see his rationale as requested, so I'm not interested in any questions.

try this

enter only if the open price is inside the channel and closes past it

exit on opposite signal

if you get 60 pips just take it

use a 40 pip stop loss and only exit with 60 pips or open and close past the opposite side of the channel

here is what i am doing

40 pip target now

wait for the open and close to go past the outer channel

set a 40 pip target and 40 pip initial stop but i only reverse that trade when the opposite happens

when the open and close are opposite side exit and reverse that trade

ok that will be $5000

Why is this strategy better than the other 40 strategies that you have posted ? You literally trade none of them otherwise you would realise your failing. You should channel your energy into something positive for yourself rather continually boring the rest of us with this rubbish.

AU Mar31 H1

- if price closes above channel and within the buffer zone, then open buy
- SL below the channel
- TP1 and TP2 above
