honestly, I don't see anything stopping this beast from 236, GBP news is also expected to be bad.. don't trade based on what I or anybody else says, trade what you see on your chart.

charts look good for short to me.. but i closed mine to see whiich way this goes after the news... probably should have stuck to my guns but decided to take the money from the market and get in again later if i can...

My 5 cents:

- news on GBP IMO will not have so much effect unless its really drastic; market has already factored in the news spirit.

- price just broke two of my fibs, one of them being Monday`s low.

- Asian session provided with avalanche, that continues right now.

- I dont see many supports on the way down, so I wonder where bounces will occur.

- I dont see many price reasons for going up

Newbies should get themselves educated and learn as much as possible, because days like these will come when AUS won't be here and then what are you gonna do? study my friends.. I at first also tried to be a smarty thinking I'm going to win and beat the market until I got my reality check and blew up my first account lol. I took a couple of months reading and learning.

If you have the passion for it, you will sit and learn.

As far as I can tell, all time frames are bearish, right?
So hopefully we should expect to see big downward movement?

Gentlemen, move on .... don't keep looking for Aus , he'll come when he comes, but I'm sure everyone here learnt something new in the past days/events etc.. , at least enough to let you take the decision of closing your positions/staying out/ even shorting if you want, I too left money on the table, but closed in less damage than could have seen had I waited for someone to yell close now! after all that's not how I want to trade in the future, and I'm glad it didn't work out last night cause being a human , I would have become less eager to learn cause at the end of the day Aus comes and tell me what to do and I'm in profit - so why the hell learn !!!
Aus or anyone else would have told you since the first breach of the lower trend line that it doesn't look good, but we kept waiting for 243.20 which was more than obvious that it's not gonna happen (specially in the Sydney session)
A lot of people came in here yesterday and mentioned excellent points that made a lot of sense like my friend KARMO and SCOTT , and that helped me make a decision.
Don't get me wrong, I respect Aus a lot and made some good pips with his guidance last week, but he is not gonna make the trend change, he is not gonna tell you hold on to your longs FOR SURE!!!!!!

We have quasi-support at 238 level, that extends to 237 with some intermediate resists. My newbie exp suggest that this is the area the price will stall/range and will need a good push in either direction for a strong move.

Ultimately this is how I would see this pair. It will need to go to this level to shake the weak money out and then it will climb again.
