Import past trades from another MT4 to see them on a chart

Hi, I have found an old detailed report with some trades that I would like to visualize on the chart to analyse them. Is that possible on MT4 or MT5?
Can past trades from another account be imported or be displayed on a chart?

If you've got all required data you can develop a script for "the visualization" of those trades..

In my GitHub repository I do have such a tool for visualising trades from an account statement:

Chart.ToggleTradeHistory.mq4

However, the HTML statement format changed slightly over the last years. Before I post a working version here, please send the report via PM (link) or email (see my GitHub profile). First I'd like to test my code with your format.

Here comes the updated version. Copy all files from the ZIP file into their respective MQL folders of your terminal. All files are needed, especially the files from the library folder. Copy the sound file to your terminal's "sound" folder.

Copy the account statement into the terminal's "MQL4/files" folder. You will find it by clicking on "Main menu -> File -> Open Data Folder" and navigating to "MQL4/files". In the input of the EA enter the full name of the statement's HTML file (with file extension). The EA will complain if it fails to find the file.

I updated the parser for some minor format changes, and added timezone support for both the current trade server and the company of the account statement. Today most trade servers run on FXT (America/New_York+0700, that's the timezone without Sunday candles) and don't need timezone adjustment. However, some old statements may need adjustment. In this case let me know, and I will explain and/or link to some docs on how to configure it.

You can toggle the display of closed trades using the script Chart.ToggleTradeHistory. Pull it onto the chart or better, assign a hotkey to it. I use "Alt-H", this way I can control the EA via keyboard.

Why is this an EA and not an indicator? For performance reasons. Parsing the HTML is a resource-intense task and an EA can cache/store values between init cycles. An indicator can't and has to reparse the report on every change of the timeframe.

ps: As you can see in the header of the EA, it's not yet finished and there are still things to do. But the main functionality is implemented and working, and I didn't want you to wait any longer.
