Hi I'm Steve from Gloucestershire UK, been looking for a small local group but not many around my end of the woods

I've been looking at the charts on and off for about 3 years, learnt a little but not really taking it seriously, however this year I've sat down a really studied the charts come up with my own strategy which has now fuelled the passion inside me and now I no longer want to do anything other than trade forex full time.

so my question is.... other than the Trading View bar reply is there another way I could fully back-test my strategy and add the tweaks i have in mind for trade grading?

I enjoy forward testing more so than back testing.. Backtesting has its place for given you a little confidence in the strategy, but forward testing gives you practice in the psychology I believe.
I forward test with a demo account with the exact same amount of capital I plan on starting with.E.g If you got 1000$ that your planning on depositing into a trading account, then do a demo account and start it with 1000$. Try and turn it into a game and see how well your strategy does at growing that account.
This works for me. Might not work for all, to each is their own right?
Just be careful with demo accounts that FAR EXCEED what your initial capital is gonna be. Very unrealistic expectations which will lead your psychology down the wrong path when you finally invest your own capital.

Trading View is the best fro replay mode imo

My name is Pedro, from Portugal, and i've started to studiying trading.

I'm still learning the concepts and the way that the markets move but i would like to know what is the most profitable market to trade, in your opinion?
There is a lot of material on the diferrent markets but i'm confuse on which should i focus to be profitable

Hi GoldLion all the best with your journey, yes apart from trading view there is a free replay called jforex mt4 on pc it works exactly like trading view features but cost nothing

Demo testing is good. Doing it on real account requires real emotions and realistic practice i highly recommend

Hi Pedro.

Most profitable are mostly pairs that many traders trade, such a gold ,eurusd,gbpusd and usdjpy. Basicallly major pairs as they provide huge liquidity.

they are different
crypto has cycles and moves by mass psychology
forex pure price action is enough to understand
