Yesterday loss a lot, as Alan and 40PipAlan mention, i notice H4 build DIV bull too late.
Today both daily and H4 in DIV bear, --> return EMA? In H1, currently bear stop by bull support, and price try to build bear support ?? I think trend is down today.

Today H1 build bull support, retest and make new HH. After a HD bear, it return to EMA, H4 seem to have HD bear, too. Now maybe price will fall down to EMA swing level? Or make a new HH and go down ?

Yesterday was one of those sad days when price barely moved for any sustained period. On the 1 hour we see price is ranging between the 50% levels of the ABCD. This is causing the EMA to flatline just below a previous average swing high. If price can break this then we are on the way to 1.300 being the next level.

Price has also left behind several swing low levels within a 100-pip distance so we could test these on a pullback.

It should be noted that after a period of low movement we see a period of great activity so be aware. I suspect it will drop a tad because the market makers need to attract sellers if buyers intend to take advantage of bargain prices to take price higher.

That is the 1 hour but when we look at the daily, we see a strong indication of a good bull run to the 1.300 because the EMA is trying for the HH.

Well, that 1-hour ABCD took a while to play out. 33 hours and it was only about 40 pips in distance. Hard to make money in a tight market like that, it requires an entirely different trading approach where brokers make heaps on the spreads.

Look to the 4-hour and we have a new ABCD but still relatively tiny. The blue bar is 80 pips wide.

Well, that's up to you. What I do is drop my lot size (Just in case it breaks away from me) and scalp a few pips here and there just to keep the account ticking over a tad.

It would be a big mistake to up the lot size to make a better profit because if it does break away from me, I could potentially lose more than I would like.

If the average is to break these average HH's then I would expect price to make the next level 1.3000.

I have a question. In post No. 8 294, you talked about four monitors that you use for trading. You could not tell how your monitors are tuned, what are you watching at the same time, how are they tuned?
I believe that when working with one monitor, I have to switch to other windows, and switching during trading affects the prompt decision of the decision.

Hi Benepamm.

That was my old computer system that I have recently change to an upgrade.

The old system was a custom build with two duel video cards making each monitor independent of each other. This was expensive to do many years ago.

These days we have much better options like my current system.

I am viewing a Lenovo monitor and PC combined connected by WiFi. I have not finished setting it up yet (lazy me) and have yet to connect the other three matching monitors also Lenovo. These simply connect via USB from a USB hub. This whole system cost about 25% of what I paid for the old system many years ago. I must say I am very pleased with this setup. I can easily move it around to anywhere I have a power point as long as I stay in range of the WiFi.

Anyway, on this currently single I am viewing the 5m, 15m and 1-hour charts all the time. Then like you I have to bring up the higher time frames to view those. I only view these higher time frames when do my daily analysis. If I see a target on the higher time frame, I put a horizontal line for it on the 1-hour and put what it is in the description so when I mouse over it, I know what it is for. For example, "4-hour average swing high".

32 pips long, then took the short when the 5 min made a div at the 3000 level. Another 12 pips.

This is good reading of the chart. Exactly the way I do it. If I don't see the move, I just don't trade period.

I recall when I was working, I was using a laptop which was forever shutting down by the time I got back to it. Restarting with bated breath not knowing if I was up or down driving me nuts. One time I was travelling with a trade on and lost the signal for about 4 hours... I lost a lot of money that day with no stop in place.

The best thing is not to mix work with trading. Just make do with the hours you have available.

Anyway, you seem to have a good handle on this now. It doesn't hurt at all to keep practicing and reviewing tactics.

Edit... With that ABCD you have on the 5 min I would make A the pivot before the div...

Price just made the D1. It was also on the 15 min chart and made that too.
