By the end of the week I will be coming out with version 7 of the Strategy Trader with a (Slow, Medium, Fast) entry points for testing and also a M15 scalper. These will all be selections in version 7 of the Strategy Trader. Algo trading is clearly the optimal style.

Issue this page is full of rusty traders that barely have consistency after years.

Good to know there's fellow algo traders around here making money.

Eugene i have run into a slight problem on v6 if you can help or give advise please, when i press the template button it just opens up a window on my mt4 terminal to mql5 website, this seems built into my terminal i have tried to remove it with no joy, so this means i cannot use templates as it uses the same alt m command please see picture below, im thinking to just load the 28 templates manually for now, cheers Jon

Just use the "Open PA Charts" button to load all pairs in your list with your default template.

Strange, here is what I see listed as mgl5 or mql4 or even MT4 or MT5 alt combinations.

Alt Combinations
Alt+1 � display the chart as a sequence of bars (transform into bar chart)
Alt+2 � display the chart as a sequence of candlesticks (transform into candlesticks)
Alt+3 � display the chart as a broken line (transform into line chart)
Alt+A � copy all test/optimization results into the clipboard
Alt+W � call the chart managing window
Alt+F4 � close the client terminal
Alt+Backspace or Ctrl+Z � undo object deletion

I have used that for years and this is the first time I have seen this.

Thanks Eugene, yes it is strange but as in picture above if i hover my mouse over the mql5 button is says Alt m , maybe we could use Alt A ?
Thanks fot the suggestion but how do I get the template section open to put my template number in, without clicking the template button in manager, as for me the template button doesn't work , it just opens mql5 ,is there any other way I can input the template number? Cheers Jon

I think you have a Hot Key added in your Browser for that URL because it is not used in MT4 or MT5 and no one else has had this problem.

You can always run the script "Change Template All HG" by clicking on it.

You can always assign any Hot Key to that script and then just use that hot key combination manually.

I have added several choices to the Strategy Trader and I will be sending out the next version the end of the week. The new version will let you decide how fast you want to get into a Strategy 1 entry but everything else is the same with Strategy 1 H1.

The fourth choice will be a M15 scalper which I will test this week and if all is good you will also have that to test.

Remember these are in the building stage so test them on a Demo Account to see if this would be the Strategy you want to go with.

Remember, I am always open to great ideas for a Strategy to add to the Strategy Trader and of course it is all free to everyone.

Thanks Eugene, but i don't know how to do that, ive just opened all 28 pairs by useing the Pa charts button and added the templates manually to the 28 pairs, the manager is now showing s1 in all the coloums so i think were good to go

If I remove my Hot Key setting from the script I get the following.
Did you assign the Hot Key to that Script?

Right click the script and select set hot key from the list and then set the hot keys for those 2 buttons.

Hi Eugene, set hot key to alt k, kept putting the template number in and nothing happened, after messing around for a few hours i realised you have to Tick the other boxes in the template changer, then all worked, Thanks for you help, now up and running

You need to use alt M and alt P if you want the buttons in The Manager to work. Did you try them?

I started a side by side test of the 3 different entries I mentioned a few posts back today so will see how each comes out by the end of the week.

So far:
Slow entry = No trades open yet but getting close.
Medium entry = 2 trades open and both positive.
Fast entry = 8 trades open and 6 positive and 2 negative.

I haven't had much time to work on the M15 scalper yet so it probably won't be available by the weekend but the Strategy Trader with the 3 different entries should be.
