No hedging. A simple system trading strategy does not require hedging.
But I can trade both ways when I want to.
Too volatile at the moment with Trump' first 100-days in-office.

after a month i stop the experiment. the account has more than doubled, but the drawdown was -19% in the meantime. i am also not happy with the profitfactor of 1.94

i would have to commit more time to improve the results. besides, each pair has its own character. it takes a lot of time to learn that.

for years i have only traded GU, for good reason.

and i would have to put more time into something new, and the actual GU trading would suffer.

by the way, there are no times at all when signals work better. i got many good signals 3-4 hours after the london open and before new york was open, i.e. during the london lunch break. maybe a little hint..

Had some successes, some losses. Opinion: Unreliable. Too many false signals for mine. Love the idea. Price action is the way. Learn some solid candle stick patterns/set ups. Then install patience into the human software. - off S/R levels as always. There are no shortcuts. (aside from 50 and 200 SMA on the H4 and daily as a consistent guide to bounce). buy low sell high applies often. Thanks folks for the idea and thread. G

I was thinking that. If channel trading you would not go short whilst the channel is going up. I guess Islandfx gets his very good R:R by getting in early, but sometime it does not work.
