I think fundamentals are very important. But i also think the most important is that a trading method match the trader. And there are successful TA obviously.
For me i need to understand why price moves in a specific way, i just cannot imagine that a specific candle pattern or whatever can predict future price moment. Yes a pinbar can react from S/R and reverse the direction of price but sometimes it dont. So when it will react and when it dont and why? I think that fundamentals will tell you that with a good probability.
And believe it or not i think that fundamental are easily traded short term. Think a bout that news come out (I am not talking about calendar events) for instance the news about the vaccine and all that day and for several days the market traded higher the dollar went higher AUDJPY went higher (it does so when there is global positive news) event the initial reaction lasted for an hour anyone could have hopped on that train. and then price retraced to 50% of the initial move (there is your technical) and continued with an up trend for at least a day as i remember. the trick is to identify events that effect the market longer then a couple of minutes and then use TA to time your entry.
Now with the a longer TF i think it more difficult because its easier to spot events that will effect the market for at least a day or 2 then spotting event that will last for a couple of weeks. and also if you are trading on a daily TF for a couple of weeks in that time span anything could happen bad, good news who is to say price wont change direction because of that.
So this is my struggle now to understand how to trade the fundamentals on a daily TF because i cant trade intraday as it requires me to constantly watch the charts and news and i cant do that and have a full time job at the same time.

Of course, it is possible to make a very good analysis by mixing fundamental and technical. However, abandoning the fundamentals can be a problem to analyze. Even if you don't do the analysis, you should have an idea about the fundamentals.

i like to depend on technically analysis but i do agree fundamental analysis its all about permanent, so we the traders have to be experienced fundamentally.

information is key. the more information you know the better decision can be made. as we know the market isn't just technical its technicals , fundamentals, sentiment so the more you are in touch with all 3 the better

Agree that fundamentals matter, especially in forex since currencies are directly tied to economies. But I don’t think everyone needs to go super deep into it. Even just tracking major news and central bank direction can make a big difference.
