Each of us here on FF have our own way of trading and seeing things. We are all at different stages of our trading journey. Nobody is right or wrong.

I have always had the view of listen to what others say (post) if you find it helpful let them know as others will benefit from it. If you don't agree move on and do your own thing. In my early days I asked Em for help because I had truly hit the wall, I could see the money yet I could not get to it. The next day I realized that only I could make trading work. It takes hard work to trade consistently. Lets all work together and make this viable for all.
You are doing a great job and I look forward to seeing your posts this week.
I still don't agree with everything he posts but I move on a do my own thing.

Well, I want to do it twice a day at the opening of the London session and once at the opening of the New York session. For example, how much time from the start of these sessions should I look for signals? One hour? Two hours?"

Hi Farzad,
I only place trades in the first 1.5hrs of the market opens. This is my choice other traders like Birdland may trade other times to this. just find what works for you.

I have tried to pay more attention to retrace bounces off the 200 sma and also rejection candles off ADR high and low - with some above average results.

Doing blind normal retracement entries without further confluence than the indicator has not been profitable the last few days.

I think that a good approach will be to find quality entries that has several confluences and match them up with a good risk to reward - and then we will be much better off. Entries off the 100 sma and sometimes the 50 sma can also do the job, but the larger the sma - the more power the trade has in my eyes.

We can build on with pivot levels - volume candles and so on - the more confluences we can get together the better.

How much importance do you place to the above in your trades?
