Steps to Use:
1. Compile the Script:
- Save the above code in `MQL4 > Scripts` as `CustomChart.mq4`.
- Compile it in the MetaEditor.

2. Run the Script:
- Open a 1-minute chart for the desired symbol in MT4 (e.g., EURUSD).
- Drag and drop the `CustomChart` script onto the chart.

I didn't notice a link when I first read your post, did you add that later in the edit? The link is to perplexity.ai which doesn't help at all.

The Period Converter Script bundled with MT4 I believe does now provide a real time updating & tradeable chart but it lacks a lot of the usefulness & functionality provided by the FlexiBar product we were discussing.

The link you provided simply lead to the sign up page for perplexity ai. How was that useful in relation to this thread? I'm not sure what you mean by the comment on having a dull moment. I'm having a dull moment right now as I yet again feel the need to respond. I won't discuss this any further now as it's of no benefit to anyone.

Just to give you all an update.
I deleted then reinstalled MT4, and still had the same problem.
I then removed all the indicators, and then added just the FlexiBar indicator, and it worked. I then placed all the other indicators in, and FlexiBar indcator was not in the navigator list again.
I then removed everything, and only put back some of the most useful indicators, and now it seems to be working.
Apparently something about all the indictors, or some of the indicators affected my ability to use it.
It seems to be a good indicator, and I will try it out for a while, and more than likely purchase the license.
Thank you all for your input and ideas.

Stan, both of these period converters generate an "Off_Line" chart. As an example, if you want a 2 minute chart, open an M1 chart for the instrument you are trading. Drag "Period_Converter_Opt" onto the chart and enter a "multiplier" of 2. Close the dialog box and the indicator will generate a 2-minute chart in the off-line charts folder. You are now done with the M1 live chart. Just let it run with nothing else on it. Go to "file\Open Offline\ and scroll down to find the M2 chart for the instrument for which you have to Period_Converter_Opt running. You now have a 2 minute chart to load your indicators, etc. and trade off of.

I could start a new thread, but thought I would check with you all first. Is there a way to get a candle countdown counter, that will run with the offline chart time that I have determined? It seems the ones I have tried, do not recognize time frames other than M1, M5, M15 etc.
