I have tried 3 VWap MT 5 indicators & they just don't fit what I need as the AY-VWap (1) I shared. I would greatly appreciate if you would reconsider & convert the Ay-Vwap MT 4 into the MT 5 version. If you don't want to spend the time it takes to do this, I completely understand & will trouble you no more with this request. I truly appreciate your time & skills should you decide to code this.

KeyBoard Trader

This MT4 EA is a FREE AS-IS project –

  1. Note: This EA was developed using a UK Compact/Mini Keyboard - so no functions on NumLock Keys. Thoroughly test and accommodate for differences in layout when using a keyboard other than a UK keyboard.
  2. I developed due to dissatisfied with key combination (Ctrl+Key, Alt+Key, etc.) in existing available free keyboard traders. All function of this EA are single key function, inclusive of those that are by default key combinations (Ctrl+T, Ctrl+A, etc).
  3. I developed this some years ago with MT4 running on Linux Mint.
  4. Note: For the benefit of newbies - there is no MQL4 code applicable specifically to Linux and this EA is not specifically coded for Linux - such, would be nonsense. This EA will run just fine on Windows 10 or 11 or, as some prefer, BG's shite.
  5. This will install MT4 Terminal on Linux and automatically install and update Wine – https://www.metatrader4.com/en/tradi.../install_linux
  6. Suggestion: If running more than one MT4 Terminal on Linux, open each terminal in a different workspace. The below image illustrates 5 work spaces.

Can you please create an indicator to screenshot the chart area alone. with a small bottom to the top left corner, once I click it, it will take the shot and keep it in a specified folder. Thanks in advance

There is a small incovenience when opening a new chart, or switching to another Tf which wasn't yet used for a longer time. The lines won't update, and I don't know why. Refreshing by switching Tfs in the code doesn't help. I checked if the VWAP data is being calculated, and the Print shows that it is. In this case clicking on the Refresh helps, and also manual switch of Tfs. After this switching Tfs doesn't cause any visible issues.

  1. Make the opening lines extend to the next day (as shown in the image)
  2. Add an option for other timeframes too

Hi Best, how are you? I tested it here and the inf and sup levels worked fine. The only thing that is strange is the lines themselves, they are not refreshing automatically as the original indicator does naturally, you know? The indicator line itself is not 'adapting' as the first code did as time goes by, you know? I don't know if the autorefresh is working, at least in the backtest it has been like in the image. I'm not talking about the signals (they are working well), but in relation to the lines themselves, they are not updating and becoming uniform as the first code does, you know?

So, I tested the last one you posted, with updating the signals outside the levels there. Do you know if running the visual backtest of the strategy tester is different from testing in real time with an open market, the issue of autorefresh? Because the visual test I did here was in the strategy tester
