Good morning friends! Been a few days since I checked the thread, busy with work and kids.

Will try to post an update of my trades this week. Monday was great with a +3R start in the morning. The rest of the week was not great, apart from a few nice shorts on BTC using this method. Looking back, my first impression: pretty choppy this week, ranging with some breakouts. But also I need to be fair to myself and acknowledge that some of the trades could have been easily skipped this week if I had the proper time. Hence, another note to self: don't trade when I don't have enough time.

I have now tested the signals with DTosc with a small account, exclusively GU trades.

I have taken many M15 signals, but also M5 signals. 60 tades or 4,6 trades/day

the results aren't great, but there is room for improvement.

here are the results after 13 trading days:

Hi Birdland,
It is a promising start, thanks for taking the time to do this. Maybe take a look at the trades in detail and find out what type of trades, time frame, time of trades etc occurred between the green dots and the red dots.

i also have a suspicion that i was paying too much attention to the higher TF instead of just taking the signal and more to the PA (price action) as i always do.
too much brain fart. things are simple.

but i'll take a closer look...

I was making an Alarm indicator (This is an Indicator!!!) to support a strategy I work on. It tells if a specific moving average is broken. I use it for finding the bounces that are tradeable.

When I was in it, i thought I could just as well let it print alarm and send IPhone messages when a level is broken. Turnips poodle want that, but its master does not use MT4, so this is a shame for him ;-)

I have not tested the Level Alarm function, so don't trust it until you see it is working. And please let me know if it is not working.
The EMA alarm is tested and it works like a charm.

As I am using MT5 and someone posted the Dtosc indicator which I did not have earlier..gave it a go on the dragon and my account went up by nearly 2%..wow!

Both EA and GA have gone up quite a bit and on H4 and daily, the Dtosc is in the 90s' ,,will see if I get a signal on M15 to go short for a retracement

Not sure whether is has been noticed yet but the SMA-HL channel equals the ssl-channel, with one small difference which pertains to the cross of the the lines.
In essence they are the same so i do not feel too 'out of order' to bring this to the forefront.

The mention of the TP on your remaining 50% actually triggered me. Looking at the ssl it seems that it can bring in many more pips (from time to time) than one could take using a fixed TP. Do you know at this point this is not the start of a 500p run on that position? If not, why not let the market decide? (and yes, for the informed amongst us, i have indee read the PipEasy thread, twice, and judging by some of the statements/ observations made, i'm not the only one ;-) ).

Please note this is just a question, maybe i'v been reading too much lately and my brain is fried ..
