Ahh - sorry, I have chosen to use the EA coding, because it gives me loads of possibilities. I will not be working on the indicator also.

I can see your problem, as you have a trading robot, then you cannot have my robot on the screen also. Sorry bout that. One solution can be to have 2 templates. Have my robot on the charts, and whenever you want to trade, then load the trading template with your trading robot. I do that sometimes. It is not that disturbing.

Excellent early call. When i matched with my chart i see your DTO settings are different and you have 2 running ...please can you advise the reasoning for 2 and when you adjust the settings according to time frames. Maybe ive missed it somwhere and you can refer me to a post.

Looking at Nasdaq -London session. You can often pick up your daily bread by trading it prior to NY open. 15 and 5 minute direction, with a heavier bias towards 5 min - so far.
Support lines, very important to me, are drawn prior to open as part of morning preparation.

Actually, my favourite timeframe is 2 minute. Less points in ES obviously, but similar money if you compare ES with 5 MNQ.

New version of my signalrobot.
New function is an overbought oversold filter.

I add the MQ4 code this time.

I use a "1" for on
and a "0" for off.

Will go back to bool algebra in next version.

I've traded index futures for about 10 years: First FDAX, then YM, and now NQ only.

On 2m I don't primarily use StochRSI(14, 14, 3, 3) for signals, but to keep me out of trouble. Don't trade against it is the rule.

I had the indicator coded to have a signal when the red line crosses the blue line up or down

The coder cautioned not to change the file name

Today I just scalped off the 2m for half an hour and was done. So not according to any formal strategy. And instead of posting my entries, why don't you tell me what you'd like to know?

thank you for this significantly improved version, especially that you can see the signal arrow at the bottom of the indicator and not in the chart.

but it's a pity that i can't backtest it because no history is possible. or have i set something wrong?

and again when i switch from timeframes m1 or m5 to m15, the old signals from the smaller TF dont disappear.

would it be better to programm just an indicator instead of an expert because its more handy?

The break of that yellow s/r zone for a short looks impressive but it cost me a failed long and short before I could draw it in and benefit from a later short. NOT traded by me this was purely observational research.
