Since traders are real good at trading strategies, let's trade some strategies to quit smoking to help you trade. You can even think of the money you save by quitting smoking as a nice take profit to add to your trading style.

I smoked for some years, then I quit almost 15 years ago now. It was tough to do. I have lots of information about quitting I can share, if anyone is interested. They actually found that what really makes people successful in quitting smoking is having social support.
I would start with the book called The Easy Way to Stop Smoking by Allen Carr. One day someone I knew from college was, like, "Hey, I read this one book, and I quit smoking right after reading it!" And I was, like, yeah, sure, aha, right, mhm, please. Then I downloaded it, read it, and bam, I was quit. You'll know why people quit after reading it when you read it yourself.
But things are complex. It often takes a while for people to get to quit...because it's just the hardest addiction to beat. I read that nicotine salts that form during cigarette burning are more addictive than heroin. Let that sink in.
Also, nicotine binds to receptors on virtually all immune cells. That's because we even have receptors called "nicotinic" receptors since nicotine was the ligand found to bind them. Isn't that just crazy? Good luck learning about that in mass media. They don't even quite research it very much because of the tobacco industry lobby.
And the statistics of people dying from smoking-related diseases is just staggering. EVEN if you don't die from smoking, your quality of life is very low while you smoke, and you still suffer health issues that just result in killing your quality of life. It's astounding how much of health is restored within just hours, days, week, and months of quitting smoking. You can do it!
