DislikedWell, a good session on the USA open on the SP500. But do you notice the indicator doesn't always go the same way as the price trend. My approach from the off was short but indicator showed long. It didn't effect how I trade but curious. Indicators indicate but the brain has to intercede - bad news for grail huntersHave I got the wrong indicator? Am I using it incorrectly ( if I was to rely on it more heavily) ? Is it likely the 5 minute time frame on indicies is not as effective as higher time frames on other instruments?...

1. I dont think you really understand the calculation of the StochRSI/Stoch and why it shows what it shows. I would advice you to read up on the Stoch calculation.
2. You are Trading an instrument that moves very impulsive (London and NY open). This is generally a great thing for Traders, but it can be tough for a "Dtosc Trader"
Why? go back to Nr.1 (I also started writing about it in this thread)
3. There is not really any Nr 3. You just dont understand the Indicator. Thats it.
Your Bias was short, you got a clean Short on the retrace. Thats a potential 7R Trade.
That would be enough for me. In fact I am pretty damn happy to have 7R gain for the Month.
You could have got it in 1 Trade trading your bias with the Dtosc Script.
