I do all the testing as I know what it is suppose to do so when my testing is complete I will post everything. Sometimes with other traders doing testing I have a hard time understanding what they actually have happened or what they have seen. So its much quicker if I do it myself and then when I post it at times the end user may run across a bug or may see a way that would work better and I could even change it for the better. So hang in there and everyone please give any suggestions or opinions on where the strategy is presently at.

Just thought I would post a little insight into a little bit of how this strategy works. I have made a few minor changes to it so have closed all trades and have restarted everything. I also cleaned up the chart and got rid of the dots which may have been confusing. When you first start it up you will probably have no trades ready to be taken and you may not have any swing points even confirmed yet, as in this case. When a swing point is confirmed it will place a yellow arrow next to the pair name in the list at the right of the page. As you can see we have none confirmed yet. You can see a green star at the right of the PA but it is not confirmed by the logic yet so no yellow arrow has been placed next to the pair name. This is why I say it may take even a few days to get even started as we don't jump into the middle of a trend, we get in right after the swing point is confirmed and then the other logic has confirmed an entry. As can be seen by the red star it would have been confirmed and than other logic would have been needed to be met and then you would have gotten the red down arrow signaling a trade entry that would have been sent to the manager for it to open the trade. The distance between the star being confirmed and the trade arrow can vary, its not a certain number of candles as there a number of steps in the logic involved. If the star repaints and moves before the signal arrow is shown everything gets erased in the logic and the sequence will start over from the start. Also it is possible a trade may open and then the star repaints. In this case add on trades may be placed in a sequence of 1,2,3 times your lot size, kind of a martingale idea up to only 3 trades depending on the repainting of of a confirmed star. Also once in a trade and if the PL is in profit there may be add on trades placed at the original lot size, the number of add ons is unlimited when in profit and is determined by the add on logic.

OK, after several hours I got a few possible swing points as shown by the yellow arrows next to the pair name in the list. Now these can repaint so they may go away and then when a posibel confirmed swing is determined will show an yellow arrow again. Nothing is set in stone and nothing is perfect. As shown in the chart below we have a possible long trade but we are waiting for more steps in the logic to take a long trade. When the logic is met there will be a yellow arrow on the graph and a in this case a buy signal will be sent to the manager which will then place the trade if the pair button, time to trade, and spread is green, all these in the manager must be met. The manager will also show the yellow arrows of possible swing points on the same pairs. When the trade is placed and opened a red or green arrow will replace the yellow arrow in the manager and in the indicator, in this case it would be green. In the indicator if you have the 1 trade button selected or selected in the settings when the opposite swing direction is painted the indicator will send a signal to the manager to close the trade. If the 1 Trade is not selected the indicator will then start looking for a setup in the opposite direction as the first trade. In the chart shown below you can see we may be getting in soon. If we would have started the computer 4 days ago we would have had to wait 4 days before this opportunity. Days between swings can be a week or more so it can take time before you start seeing any results. Also we have 7 possibles now and it is Thursday so if these open trades before or on Friday what should you do? If you are in profit you could take your small profit and close everything for the weekend. But if some are still yellow and look like a good candidate and you close down for the weekend those possible prime entries will be lost and everything starts over from scratch when you restart the following week. I just let my computer on over the weekend and let it resume where it left of on Friday. My computer has been running for about 9 years now with only brief shutdowns to clean house. This indicator runs on the H1 chart and you can not change it. Some money management can be set up in the manager on your pair basket but most of it is up to you.

OK. While I was typing a trade opened, so the last 2 images show the indicator and manager. The manager was started at 11:58 CST but as you can see the trade opened at 14:00 CST. Trades always take place on the first new candle of the hour as only closed candles are used in the logic.

Hi Seller, just looking at the last trade above perhaps a pending order may have been better to prevent the drawdown that has happened after the signal?

I just shut down my testing for the week so there will be some losers. I made a few changes so hopefully next week will be the last testing week if my brain fog hasn't screwed something up.

I will send you a copy this week end to do testing on a demo account. There are no settings for the Strategy 1. It does have DD but the algo seems to always come back if you just let it do its thing. So money management is up to the trader and he does have to be careful and not get greedy. LOL
