Precisely. Even fundamental analysis has more impact on daytrading than technical support and resistance nonsense.

Exactly. Gold is providing a very good example as we speak. early this morning it came up to a 'level' and went through it without paying it any attention. Lots of traders with lines on their charts will have lost money as price steams 50-100 pips past and takes out their stops. The market then randomly decides to start pulling back and stops out the continuation traders out as well. That's 2 groups of day traders who have guaranteed lost money today, while I'm happily sitting on the other side of the fence.

I will stop buying gold only when The Dollar figures out what it is doing and we pull back from WW3.
